Brock's last project didn't excite me. I never got past the samples. But I hope this is better.

Stupid. That album is v good. One song made my top 10 list.

Look forward to this one too

Really? I'd have to revisit it, because I don't recall being moved much. I remember the first song being alright, but the other two doing very little for me. Could have been in a mood.

God-awful band name.

Well, are they all 41? ;}

I was going to make that hilarious call too.

I think they were all 41.

lol. I actually forgot to comment on the idea of this project. To be honest, I have no idea who those other three guys are. So to call this one an "all-star" project is pretty ridiculous, but anything with Brock on vocals is always worth a listen. Even if it's not an all-star project.

Well Gary Phil played on the 3rd and 4th Boston albums, but I am not sure where the connection is to Bang Tango for Matt Star?? Never heard of him??

From Frontiers:

BREAKING NEWS: FRONTIERS MUSIC SRL PRESENTS ALL 41
• DEBUT ALBUM "WORLD'S BEST HOPE" OUT JULY 7, 2017
• FEATURING TERRY BROCK, ROBERT BERRY, GARY PIHL, MATT STARR

ALL 41 is not just another project born of Frontiers’ President Serafino Perugino’s imaginative A&R mind, but is a project very close to the hearts of each musician involved. With none other than the amazing Terry Brock on lead vocals (Giant, Strangeways), Robert Berry (Three, Alliance) on bass and lead vocals, Gary Pihl (Boston, Sammy Hagar (The Red Rocker), Alliance) on guitar, Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr Big) on drums and production by Alessandro Del Vecchio, All 41 is a project born of passion and fire. Their debut album, "World's Best Hope" will be released July 7, 2017.

Guitarist Gary Pihl says, "t started with some great sounding songs in a rough “demo” form, but every time I got a new version with each musician’s real performance on it, I got stoked! We’re all bringing our “A Game” to the band. I can’t wait to do some gigs with these guys! Robert and I go way back, and Terry and Matt are like the best players ever!"

Bassist and co-vocalist Robert Berry adds: "So many times musicians get together and struggle to find common ground in style and substance. When Serafino, president of Frontiers, called me with the line up for All 41 I had no idea that he had put together perfectly matching musical pieces. From playing bass to Matt's solid drums, trading vocals with Terry's soaring voice, to the warmth and feel of Gary's own style of powerful, yet melodic guitar playing, this band came together like missing puzzle pieces. I can't wait to get it on to the concert stage."

"What a great bunch of musicians to work with and such talented, classy guys. I am proud to be associated with this project and i am so proud of my great friend and collaborator Alessandro Del Vecchio for his incredible work!!!! Thank you Serafino, Mario, and Frontiers for ANOTHER amazing opportunity....GRAZIE MILLE AMICI," says vocalist Terry Brock, with drummer Matt Starr adding, "I had a lot of fun making this record. There are some amazing songs and everybody really played great!"

Musically, these guys gel incredibly well and have come up with a superb debut album which mixes Mr Big’s most melodic moments together with the more keyboard-laden years of Van Halen along with obvious nods to Strangeways and Alliance. The duel lead vocals are an amazing plus for this absolutely beautiful record, not to mention the excellent production which highlights the unforgettable melodies. An AOR highlight of the year!

I like how they call the album The World's Best Hope, but then the second song is "Cyanide."

Gave up hope pretty quick.

    • FRONTIERS EXPANSION, NEW LABEL IMPRINT AND MAJOR SIGNING NEWS! A special message from Serafino Perugino, President of Frontiers Label Group: Dear friends, I am thrilled to announce the creation of Frontiers Label Group, which will umbrella Frontiers Music Srl and further labels, the first of which is our new imprint FLG. This expansion allows us to diversify and strengthen our position in the rock and metal landscape, while continuing to uphold the values that have guided us since the beginning. While Frontiers Music Srl remains home to melodic rock, hard rock, and metal artists, FLG will be dedicated to pushing the boundaries of rock and alternative music. This bold step marks our continued evolution as a leader in the rock and metal genres, and it is with immense pride that we welcome rock icons Skunk Anansie to the FLG family as the first signing to our new imprint. The signing of Skunk Anansie is a meaningful moment in the history of Frontiers, an important landmark in our development as one of the leading international rock and metal labels. This is only the beginning! We are excited to bring more news and announcements in the coming months as we continue to grow and expand Frontiers Label Group, our imprints and our roster of incredible artists. Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this exciting new journey together! Long Live Rock n’ Roll!! Serafino

    • Added Framing the Red over on the main site recently: Framing the Red discography reference list of music CDs. Heavy Harmonies Their website: Framing The Red Their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/framingtheredband Their YouTube channel: (23) Framing the Red Official Page - YouTube They have four releases, and all are quite good in my opinion. If I had to describe them, I'd say this is what Gunshine would sound like if they went in a more southern rock direction.  Here are some of my favorite tracks... Crossroads   Whiskey & Weed   Holy Water   Mississippi Hippie   Heroes   Bonnie & Clyde   Rockin' Into the Night (38 Special cover)   "Crossroads" and "Heroes" are probably my two faves.  *I will give a word of warning:  if you decide to purchase any of their discs, they are barebones releases with just the CD in a cardboard slipcase. I enjoy the music enough that that's not an issue for me though.  @lettard @KarpetRydOFunk @tts42572 @AlphaMale @Dead Planet @Mr.AOR @tobi is an animal I think all of you gentlemen should give these guys a listen and see what you think.
    • H.E.A.T - 1000 Miles Vega - Hands In The Air The Defiants - Stay Issa - River of Love I'm at work right now so that's all I know off the top of my head but I'll look through my library for more when I get a chance.
    • Maybe anything by the Darkness
    • Wig wam - hard to be a rock n roller
    • Saw these guys first time a couple of years ago, when they were 16-17 years old, they are absolutely awesome. They have been touring for a few years now, performing their own songs, yet haven't released anything, until now. I have tickets to see them this saturday, opening for Mercenary. First single and video:
    • I want to compile quite an extensive playlist of hard rock songs that has a key change in the end. Why? Cause I think it sounds awesome Some well known exambles are: Bon Jovi - Living On a Prayer Wig Wam - In My Dreams Danger Danger - Don't Blame it on Love H.E.A.T - Beg Beg Beg
