A new "Steve Lee" tribute album from "Gotthard" featuring this previously unreleased cover. October 5th marked 10 years since his death. Can you believe it's been 10 years?!

It still hurts a little.

I'm unashamedly a huge fan of "The Beatles", particularly their early stuff.

Probably the best know Beatles cover is Joe Cocker's "With a Little Help From My Friends" and with good reason. It's a brilliant reworking.

This version of "Help!" By John Farnham is in the same League.

I've heard this arrangement by other artists, but I think John Farnham's version may have been the first, I'm not sure.

HIM - Wicked Game.

I've posted this before. A great example of what a cover should be.

BTW, the original featured on the movie soundtrack of the 1990 film "Wild at Heart".

Could be an "At the Movies" contender.

Home Free - Man of Constant Sorrow.

Those of you who have seen "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" will be familiar with this track by the "Soggy Bottom Boys".

I love this old, old school Country/Folk stuff.

These guys are an A cappella group BTW.

Vocals, Beats and Harmonica.

Just as a post script, it seems that the bitches really love a deep voice.

I happen to wear a hat like the lead singer, as Doggy will confirm.

My normal voice is deep-ish, but I do have massive balls, so I could make it deeper.

Lesbian Bed Death - Give 'Em The Axe.

Going thru the archives, I had to bump this one from "martinsane".

Great band. The Lead Singer is just skanky enough to be hot.

Awesome, I had forgotten about this cover, which I shouldn't have as I love Lizzy Borden and redheads, so a win win.

After re-watching I would let her give me chlamydia any damn day...

Negative connotations aside, I've always thought that "Chlamydia" would make a lovely girls name.  :bananamac:

Jane Doe - Devil Woman.

I really love this cover. The original Cliff Richard version is actually one of my earliest music memories.

I've always loved the song, but you know, it's Cliff Richard FFS.

When I first heard this I felt it gave the track the credibility it deserves and I could finally listen to it without shame.

I love it when it kicks in at the 2 minute mark.

One of my earlier memories as well.
Recall hearing it at my grandparents house and being taken with it.
This version does little for me, but I like that they actually made it theirs.

I admit to only knowing the Chicago and Mr Mister songs here.
This is the perfect reason why many covers suck.
These may as well be the bands rerecording as close to the originals so they can use them and get the royalties.

The guy is amazing at sounding line the originals, incredible.
But why not just play the originals.
IO guess these newer versions would be cleaner and better produced etc, but meh.

AWESOME!!! I would rather see these guys live than Journey...

I saw these clips when you first posted them and was amazed at how much this guy looked like Steve Perry, but it's only after seeing the new "Valentine" thread that I found out this was "Hugo".

Mind blown!
