Edited 6.3.2017: Title & record label

From FB:

Shaped by one admirer of Album Oriented Rock, Rockett Love delivers music with class and melody.
- we try to break the boundaries with music that can be both commercial and critically acclaimed.
The band's background starts as a project with him and four handpicked and skilled musicians.
- I've always wanted to have a band where I am in full control of the output.
The bandmembers all have a history, both past and present, in bands like Carnal Forge, Grand Design, Kee Man Hawk, Sour System, Twinball and Sons of Woland.
Rockett Love is a classic band with a modern touch.

Rockett Love:

Daniel Samuelsson: Lead Vocals

Stefan Westerlund: Guitars and Vocals

Gustaf Eklund: Lead Guitars and Vocals

Dennis Vestman: Bass and Voclas

Fredrik Ahlin: Drums, Percussion and Vocals

Very thin sound, but the song is nice. If someone offers any kind of production assistance at all it could be good.

  • My Little Pony

This S/T cut from their web page sounds anything but thin to my ears and it is quite bitchin!

It's the same track, Terry, and I do have to agree with the Aussie. The sound could benefit a lot from being beefier. Still, it is a decent song.

Same as above. Very strong song, but super weak, thin sound. I hope they get this sorted before they release what could be a collection of very good songs.

It's not mention anywhere but I think these are just demos. I certainly hope so.

Interesting only considering the sound quality....

I do like both of these songs and the mix through my headphones is fine enough, sure it sounds a bit 80's but isn't that the point? The mix isn't bad either all the stuffs were it should be... MAYBE these are pre final mix cuts.

We shall see, either way I like it a lot and the disc will happily reside in my house and in my player.

So I asked the question that everyone is begging for an answer with regards to these tracks and the production and here is the reply:

Hello Terry
The two tracks on Reverbnation are two of fourteen demo tracks,Recorded by me and singer Daniel The album recording will start early December.
Self finaced but we hope to get a deal along the way.
Cheers
Stefan

Sounds much better, but I would expect no less from Beau Hill.

You'll think differently after listening to Deadline - Heading West

Well, then I just won't listen to that. ;}

    • She Said She Was A Dancer-Jethro Tull
    • I first heard this a few years ago, and it has probably been discussed on here before but the search function throws up everything when you search for Jani or Serial Killer. I had liked the song The one that got away on Alice Coopers Along came a spider album, and one day a few years ago I found out it was originally an unreleased Jani Lane song. Being a huge Jani fan I have just been wishing that all the unreleased stuff I have heard over the years would get a remaster and a proper release as he was one hell of a song writer and singer. This though sounds fully produced. Also found an old interview from 2010 where Jani discussed working with Alice on his (then) upcoming Welcome 2 my nightmare album, but sadly looking at the writing credits, they went in a different direction as there are no Jani writing credits. I wonder if there are any unreleased Alice Cooper songs from those writing sessions?
    • Yeah true mine came with the card too - no. 304

    • Popping back in to plug a damn fine album by a damn fine group.  Came out this Friday and I can't stop listening to it. These Swedes have been on an upward trajectory since their debut in 2017. This is already their 4th album. The last one, Rambler, was very good so I thought it would be hard to top, but they have succeeded by a considerable margin.  Black Paisley take their influences from the classic 80s hard/heavy rock genre, with a tinge of modern vibes. Guitarist Franco Santunione joined for the Rambler album and he was a real shot in the arm.  This is riffy, melodic, head bop inducing stuff.  Everything is excellent on this album, but a few songs stick out even more IMO, and they are Set Me Free, In the Night, World's Turning, Silent Asylum and Crazy.  If you haven't checked these fellas out, you really should.  I don't know how to embed Spotify or YT links, so if someone nice could help out, it would be greatly appreciated.
    • Pretty decent... not mad about it.
    • Nice. I like it a lot. And yeah, very good quality for a demo.
