I'll admit that it's not terrible, but his voice sounds too "nasally" these days instead of the "throaty" style when he was in his prime. A bit like Bruce Dickinson sounds now compared to some years ago.

 

Stupid harcut as well... It makes me think of wanting to pull it out like you pull the leaves off the top of a strawberry!

I wanted to hate this, I really did, but it's actually not bad. Sure, he can't sing like he used to, but it sounds like he went back and listened to Operation: Mindcrime a shit-tonne of times. He's definitely channeling that sound. On this song, anyway. I haven't listened to the others.
