I finally decided to join in. Its great to see so many people still interested in 80's hard rock. Just a little about myself. I grew up in the 80's and have loved the rockin' music from that era. I currently have about 700 cd's in my collection. All of it hair metal, glam, butt-rock, or whatever you want to call it. I don't listen to anything else. This is my hobby beside my xbox 360. I look forward to conversing with you all. :guitbannana:

Welcome aboard :drink:

Butt-rock! Interesting genre that I have never heard of before. I am sure Geoff will be totally into that, especially if it is masculine. ;)

Butt rock is a term coined by grunge lovers here in the pacific northwest. I feel bad for coming from the state where grunge originated. Anyways thanks for all the warm welcomes.

Yeah, I was gonna say I never heard of THAT term before but ok. Welcome!

    • From Frontiers: Frontiers Music is thrilled to announce the signing of Powell-Payne a dynamic four-piece band hailing from West Wales, United Kingdom! Formed by founding members Mark ""Penfold"" Powell (ex-drummer of Psycho Kiss) and Adam Payne (former vocalist of Airrace) in 2022, Powell-Payne's journey began with a single goal - to create a heartfelt song dedicated to their lost loved ones. Joined by their dear friends Adam Davies on guitar and Steve Leyshon on keyboards, Powell-Payne quickly realised the magic of their collaboration and decided to embark on a full album project together. Expanding their lineup to include the exceptional talents of Aydan Watkins on guitar and Alex Anderson on bass guitar, Powell-Payne is ready to rock the world with their electrifying sound! And the following night, March 16th, we will be in Lakewood, OH, at Mercury Music Lounge.  Two new band members will be joining our lineup. Veteran touring drummer Matt Muckle (Paul Gilbert, Lynch Mob) will be taking over drums for our dear recently-departed brother, James Kottak. • I think it's the other way around.  Still it's a very hooky album. I often thought a song doesn't necessarily have to end at 3:00 minutes. The endings are too abrupt sometimes.
    • No Line On The Horizon-U2
    • Last World-Beautiful Illusion  Kenny McGee-The Picture
    • It was Bryan Wolski I was thinking of. Victor played in Mitch Malloy's band at Firefest.
    • Out of Exile - Audioslave
    • Victor didn't play on the last release by Blue Tears.
