Very excellent guitar work.

 

I don't see the big Orange, Blue, Yellow, Red, Green buttons on the upper neck. ;)

:lol: Worst part is I totally SUCK at Guitar Hero! It just seems so counter-intuitive. :(

Nice, Pete. That was awesome. Nailed it! If I were there I'd have thrown my bra and panties at you mid-solo, so let's be thankful for the sake of the video clip I stayed home cooking your dinner that night.

Yeah Ugh, we were thinking about getting a keyboardist to fill out the live sound, but decided to go with a rhythm guitarist instead so that way we aren't too light live. :banger:

Pete, love the live footage BTW...you say in one of your comments your fingers can get a little tired during the solo....I've always wondered how guitar players don't end up with carpal tunnel in the first place? What the heck is the trick? I used to play video games on the PC and carpal tunnel sets in.

What the heck is the trick? I used to play video games on the PC and carpal tunnel sets in.

Warming up (which I'm a real slacker about) is the key, I try to get in at least 10-15 mins. of finger exercises prior to rehearsing or playing live, but it doesn't always work out that way. I definitely get some carpal tunnel discomfort from time to time, especially when I have a heavy playing schedule or several back-to-back studio days... :(

      It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.

      Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
