Mr.Big

Mr. Big is stuck in a time warp...this song sounds like it could've come off any of their classic albums from the 80's-early 90's. It's not gonna win over any new fans, but if you dig the band, this is really good stuff.

I dig that. Hopefully they can finally make a consistently good disc. I'm interested in this.

I agree, every release had some great songs but no good flow or momentum and the fillers weighed out the great songs. The "best of" package is all I have from them and it's a great one, just missing "Had Enough" from the debut.

The intro to the new song brought me back to the first time I heard Green-Tinted Sixties Mind, fuck I love that song.

I also think their albums have always been a bit hit & miss, but this is awesome - love the vocals...

Didn't know they were back together recording so now I do. This definitely sounds promising. They seem to be one of those very few comeback bands sticking to their guns rather than trying to be something they aren't. Something I have nothing but the greatest respect for. If you ever want to succeed again thou should come as you are, therefore thou shall come the hardest.

yeah I listened to the sample and it sounds great......sounds exactly like the debut actually.....what happened to those 20 years!

No kidding, every time a song brings me back to the good old days I ask that same question...where did the time go?

so are they doing a comeback album!?

I'm thinking I read somewhere that they're releasing (another) greatest hits album with 2-3 new tunes thrown in.

pff.. bored.

theyve already done that! a few times...

Yeah, they've already done it...but it was a quick way to get something new (even if only 2 actual new songs) to the Japanese market pre-tour...I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a new album afterwards...and I also hope that they expand on thier sound and DO NOT repeat anything...

I think Hey Man is my fave...

Freak. ;)

'Take cover' is amazing, though. 'The chain' and 'Going where the wind blows' are pretty sweet too. But the rest - :puke:

    • So some may remember that Tyketto toured recently and aside from Forever Young, I never delved into this band. So I did, so I'd know the songs in concert and was blown away. A great band with an awesome catalog that I had missed out on. To be fair, in the 80's it was a lot harder to access and find out about a lot of the more fringe bands, that's my excuse anyway. So I now am faced with digging deeper into some other bands I've overlooked. Some of these I gave a go, and wasn't really impressed, but now I'm starting fresh with an open mind. So below is a list of bands I have eitehr never bothered with, or never really gave a proper go. Lizzy Borden is on the list and I have done a bit of their stuff and like it a lot, so I will definately dig deeper into them (I've got some older stuff and some newer stuff, but have skipped quite a few albums) But the others, fire away, tell me which bands have killer material that I'll froth and how stppid I've been to skip them. • I like the album art. I love when contemporary Glam Metal bands have album art with a genuine 80s vibe to it.
    • Nope, for a while, I used to think Rapunzel from Tangled (2010) was hot... But then I stopped being attracted to cartoon characters.
    • This is definitely the first time I've heard about it, I'll have to give it a listen!
