Wow, that sounds freakin' awesome. I always had a soft spot for Plant's solo stuff, especially the earlier years. Still need to replace a few vinyls here and there.

Hey 'Green' ()

Spinnin' some of it right now - The best Box set I have seen in a while . I too prefer his earlier stuff, but his last album 'Mighty Rearranger' was a bit on the good side.

 Like my new name?

I have to admit, "Mighty" was one of the first Plant discs I considered buying in awhile. Not that any have been truly "bad" IMHO, just not good enough to consider dropping the cash...

Pete

My fave Percy discs are 'The Principle Of Moments, the magnificent 'Now & Zen' & 'Fate Of Nations' and his latest 'Mighty Rearranger'. Some great stuff in there. All his stuff is pretty varied from one disc to the next, which is one of the main reasons (besides the voice) that I like his solo stuff soo much.

Finally I join the digital age with the Rock Candy release of John Waite - Ignition. Phenomenal album, the vinyl just wasn't enough for me anymore... :woot:

Didn't know you were a John Waite fan.

I miss the Green Charvel avatar already.

How can you not be a Jon Waite fan? I do confess, though, I didn't know of Pete's fascination either. He's very secretive.

Geoff - Top banana mate. I know I'm an old Bastard, but I still like some of my Rock on the Harder side and this one fits the bill nicely. Love Howard Jones' vocals especially and some of the tunes on this are f**in' ace (The Arms Of Sorrow, My Curse, Daylight Dies, For You) . The Disturbed disc is pretty darned good as well - another great vocalist in David Draiman!!! :drink:

It's not something I like to talk about... not since...

...the incident...

;)

Loved that album since the day it came out, "Change" and "Mr. Wonderful" were on the radio a lot and I couldn't get enough of it. I have to admit, IMO this is by far his best and I'm not a big fan of any of his later stuff. Not enough edge to it. :anon:
