  1. Wall Street 2 Money Never Sleeps: Very enjoyable. Obviously not as amazing as the first movie, but a real good chaser...
  2. It wasn't that bad a movie. Some good effects and the story was entertaining enough. Certainly worth a veiw or 2.
  3. Nicely said! And I dig Ellis' voice on this, certainly sleezy/appropriate. Love that last line about Mydol in Shotgun Sally.
  4. Good song! And I agree with Jared Lips And Hips is a great tune...
  5. Definately and top shelf at that. Originally released on Metal Blade. GREAT band. Glad they are finally done! Now to roll someone for some extra $$$$$$$.

  7. Awwww shucks... Looking forward to many more fruitful trades MIke. Cheers to you my friend!
  8. There are 3 cd's I specifically remember "passing" on and my reasoning for doing so at the time was/is just stupid. 1) Lion-Trouble In Angel City Logic: "I have this on cassette so I don't need it on CD?!??!" The price was $5.99 at the WHerehouse Records. 2) & 3) Hurricane-Slave To The Thrill and Over The Edge. This decision was more of a financial one, I had the dough, but at $8.00 each I said no. I have them both now and paid FAR less than that, but the Over The Edge cd was autographed!
  9. That's a fair to midland slice of hard rock and for babies it is KILLER. Someone spent some very real money making that video. Spill the beans on the band please!

  11. Reading through this and certainly enjoying the saga of cd's and our less than understanding spousal units, got me wondering if, now this is a HUGE what if? One day you got the ultimatum: "Its the cd's or me!?" What do you suppose you'd do? Personally I've tiptoed around this very question on a number of occations and thankfully I'm still married and still in possession of ALL of my cd's. The question does weigh heavy on my mind at times and today I don't know what my answer would be. As I stated above I love my wife, but my music is truly a passion too... I don't know what road I'd choose and I hope I never have too. Lastly: Every time I read Mr. Junkies and JE's posts I can't help playing in my head that Stuttering John tune "Talk My Way Out Of It".
  12. Oh for crying out loud. What a waste. Not saying that Mike couldn't have used a bit of an attitude adjustment, but still such potential to do great... RIP Mike, RIP.
  13. I would rather have fucked them back when the had their lovely locks...
  14. The theme to the Gary Shandling Show. Specifically the line, "This is the part in Gary's theme, where I start to whistle..."

  16. I love reading this thread and empathizing with you guys about our wives dislike for our like of cd collecting. My question is: Why? Why do our wives dislike our cd buying/collecting. I mean withstanding, that we aren't taking food off the table or missing the mortgage payment to buy them, but just a happy health hobby... I just don't get the hatred towards it.
  17. Backed ! And I'm looking forward to your review, Terry ! Thanks B! Her it is: http://www.sleazeroxx.com/bands/whitewiddow/widdow.shtml
  18. Agree with the condolences already posted. When I spoke with James recently and he told me the news I was set back on my heals. Kelly and I had a very good round of cd swapping, mp3 sharing and all around bitch fests about certain sellers and collectors. I am a horrible friend and don't reach out to anyone too regularly, but I think Kelly and I last spoke about a month ago, I sent him the Wallace and Voodoo Rooster mp3's... I really enjoyed how frank and to the point he was, weird to use the past tense venecular... RIP my friend. You will surely be missed.
  19. Here is the official video for "You're The One's". A little teaser while awaiting the cd... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae7uw-9Gb6A
  20. This album is definately a killer release! My reveiw of it will post at Sleezeroxx any second, but in a nutshell: buy this cd and play it over and over and over! It is that good.
  21. I never relaized that Katherine Keigl was in that. I think I knew at the time - she was in the TV show 'Roswell' back then and I was in love with her. But yeah, forgotten about that through the years too. Will need to watch again. She was so much better looking back in those days. 'The Happening' ; Stupid concept, but this could have been half decent. I enjoyed the actual film enough, but what the hell was with the dreadful acting, by everyone, throughout the whole film? Everyone was terrible. And How Walberg and that girl were meant to be playing a couple is beyond me. They looked as "together" as rabies and AIDs on a date. I could handle the film, but it wasn't easy. I remember Roswell since some former Buffy alum was in it but never watched it consistently so didn't really know who Heigl was until Greys and didn't care until 'Knocked Up'. Yeah, I used to love that 'Roswell' show - saw every single episode. It was a bit teen drama-ish, but I reckon you'd enjoy it enough. And Heigl was young and ripe with a huge pair of norks and not a stick figure. Yeah, she delivered back then. I've been watching Roswell through Netflix and now I'm hooked. At first yeah it was kind of Dawson's Creek with Aliens but now it's got more interesting as it's went on. Nice retrieval. I've been thinking of TV series I'd like to get box sets if I could ever find them cheap, and I'd totally watch this again. It's on my list. I can't say I recall watching it, but that little Molly Ringwald looking redheaded girl sure makes my pants tight... On topic: Watched that newer Bruce Cambell movie "They Call Me Bruce". Obsolutely perfect!
  22. I quite enjoyed "The Hangover You Don't Deserve" CD and so do my kids. (I skip a few songs due to naughty bits) They certainly have a solid release base and they do write some catchy tunes or collaborations with Butch Walker and the guys from SR-71...
  23. I have the one from 1994 that is black and white and looks like a bullseye. http://www.kids.co.jp/King-Show/ Did not realize they were/are so prolific... Thanks for the wiki find Captain.
