  1. Agreed that the move to prior to the Super Bowl was a bad move. Think of some of the players who got the opportunity to go to the PRo-Bowl that can't because they are practicing for the Super Bowl. The game has always been kind of like when you and your buddies get together and drink too many beers and play in the mud and rain bowl, which is fine and fun to see the comradery. Just think it should happen after SB...

Fortunately, I don't pay any attention to any of the off the feild hype. No ESPN or the like for me so I miss out on all that. The Steelers scare the shite out of me when they play, cause I just don't know what team is coming. When they are hitting on all cylinders, there isn't a team in the league that can touch them. If they are sucking wind then the 4th quarter is always a nail biter to see if they will edge out the other team in some final second play or succumb to the agony of defeat... I've enjoyed watching Aaron Rodgers blossom into a good QB and become a good leader of the Packers after Favres departure. My 2 cents: the Packers don't have it to beat the Steelers. I beleive that Ben & Company will come out and be playing the game of their careers. MIke Wallace will catch them all, Hines Ward will as always be amazing, Heath Miller will get his usual 50 first down catches and a couple of TD's, Mendenhall will get in another 100 plus. On defense: Woodley, Kessell, Harrison and friends will reak havoc on Aaron Rodgers, with hurries and sacks and interceptions OH MY! Troy P will get a pick and score and the performance and Superbowl victory will be an amazing send off to Hall Of Famer Dick LeBeau. Even though one will hope he doesn't retire...And MIke Tomlin is amped up with the eye of the tiger for his 2nd ring as a new/youngest head coach. Score: Pittsburgh-42 Green Bay-10 (Being late scores once the cheerleaders come in to play for Pitt) Big hope is that the officiating is not skewed. HOPEFULLY they will call a fair, actual and educated game...
  3. Caught a few tonight: Chain Letter fairly good budgeted slasher, with some brutal kills, about a dude that kills if you don't forward the "chain letter"... Machette Just plain excellent and that would still be the case even without the naked LL and JA...

I have been thinking about this thread all day and thanks Jeff for starting it, an excellent idea and well being a Steeler fanatic ensures acceptance... I was thinking, sure is silly to just post up 1 cd, when a 1/2 dozen without cases fits in the same bubble mailer and costs the same...

Sounds like a "wager" to me. This game should be epic. Can not wait to get that cd...
  10. Well spank my bottom and call me Teresa if my boys from Pittsburgh didn't win ANOTHER AFC championship and going to thier 8th Superbowl... I knew they would, started out on the road to humiliating the Jets and then in the 2nd they must have smoked some weed at half time or something, cause they played, barely, in the 2nd. Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers in Arlington for Superbowl 45. Pittsburgh will get ring number 8 and to everyones shagrin big Ben will win his 3rd Superbowl ring... GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Well tomorrow is the big day. Steelers beating, no wait, humiliating the Jets. & The Packers beating the Bears. (would rather the Bears win, but I don't think they can stop Rodgers) Pittsburg and Green Bay going to Dallas.

Mr. Douglas is on fire in this, just superbly written and acted. Evan Rachel Wood is certainly easy on the eyes... Soloman Kane-This too was good. Surprised that it didn't even register in the US.

  17. Cue Twilight Zone or The X-Files music now...
  18. My wife showed me this a few days ago. So frickin' awesome! (sarcasm of course)
  19. Well one for two today. The Hawks could not get started in Chicago and the jets just plain outplayed the Patriots. Well next week The Jets come to Pittsburgh and the Packers go to Chicago... The Steelers will humiliate the Jets and the Packers will trounce the Bears. Super Bowl XLV Pittsburg Steelers & Green Bay Packers. Winner of SBXLV...THe Steelers of course.
  20. the Bear Hawks game is interesting... the Bears came on like a freight train in the 1st quarter and here we are in the middle of the 3rd and they have done bupkiss. At least the Hawks have been consistently bland. The Hawks usually play a good 4th quarter and obviously they need it today.
  21. Well it appears I was 2 for 2 today/Saturday. Man the Packers just humiliated the # one seated Falcons! The Steelers, well are just frickin' awesome! Even though the zebra's tried to screw up the game in the first half, bad calls on both teams, the Steelers came out in the third quarter and just shut down the Ravens. Defense was on fire, both sides. Damn what a hard nosed, hard hitting game! I wish all the games could be that good! Go Seahawks! Jets and Patriots, who cares?? Still pulling for the Jets even though, again, both teams make me puke a little in my mouth.

  23. It actually looks pretty cool. The tree's and the whole pacific NW theme I get it, but I must say that "arena" is a lot nicer than most pro venues. Now I know why Seattle can't get a pro team without re-building the Key Arena...
