  1. Have to admit I'm kind of really digging this one. I think it does need a few spins for some of the hooks to settle in, because I agree with what you're saying. But overall, looks like these guys have released two good ones in a row. I need to get this disc for sure. I love the last two releases. It's certainly worth having, but it's no s/t IMHO... The s/t was awesome but for some reason I prefer 'Dreamin in a Casket' but just barely. I can dig that, I think Dreamin' is pretty damn close to the s/t myself. I don't think Beg For It touches either of 'em. I was one of very few who didn't get into s/t. To me it sounded too much like their earlier stuff, which was just average, imo. 'Dreamin in a casket' was an entirely new sound for them and that's where I got interested. They've maintained the new sound for this new disc and these two are my favourite CDs from them, personally.
  2. Won't the wrestlers fall off? And the winner of the most obvious reply is.................... Paul? Or Cameron? Or the polar bear?
  3. 12 year old pregnant girls. Oh, you silly things. *Slap* I hope you're fixed now.
  4. Steel Panther - 'Feel the Steel' No Love Lost - s/t ... and then just whatever else is next in my stack of barely listened to new aquisitions.
  5. You forgot to "fuck the enemy" !!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, fuck the enemy too, fuck these useless fucking computers, fuck poverty and fuck this day!

    Is it ?

I was thinking the other day about Dave and his lack of presence recently. I am really hoping he will make an appearance, so we can have our usual sparing match and general piss taking when The Ashes start up in a couple of weeks time. Wouldn't be the same without him, especially when the English start kicking some Aussie butt, as they undoubtedly will do. I hope Stef and Jarred are ok aswell. They have probably got a more of a life than us recently and are partying it up like mad fuckers. Yeah, pretty sure work is keeping Stefan away and I believe I know vaguely what is keeping Jarred away, but not sure at all about Dave. He used to pop up at least on weekends... hope all is well down there in Wintery Victoria.
  7. Thanks guys, pretty much what I assumed. I'd love to see how these pussies would handle an episode of an Aussie show we have here called 'Good News Week'. For the record, though, I always liked Letterman...
  8. Yeah, not too bad mate. Not wild about them, but they sound pretty good.
  9. Some more trade fodder from the coast: Superheist - 'Chrome Matrix' (1996 Aussie hard rock/metal EP) Uthanda- 'Believe' (1992) - who are these guys? Not too bad to be honest. Misdemeanor - 'Five wheel drive' (1998 Swedish female fronted rock/metal band from Sweden) Plankeye - 'The one and only' (1997 pop punk) Holy Soldier - 'Encore' And a few I'm not sure about: Cheap Trick - 'Special One' ; picked this up for $2 and know nothing about it. Four Star Mary - s/t (1997 modern/pop rock... didn't sound too bad actually) Hey Mercedes - 'Evryday fireworks'
  10. Yeah, I'd love to hear those bonus tracks for sure! Thanks mate.
  11. "songS" of the day huh? One after another, all over the place I get exerpts from each of these tracks in my head all day everyday. Add 'Hell's on fire' and 'Big Boobs' to the mix too. My head is currently a haven for Steel Panther songs. I've had "Asian Hooker" in my head for days now. "sucky fucky, sucky fucky..." awesome track. The chorus is an explosion in your ear. The thing I love about the disc is I keep noticing or understanding a lyric I might not have heard the first 8000 times round and I lol all over again. Magnificent CD.
  12. Yeah, agree with all this. Not a huge fan either, but interested in these guys after that great last release. Pretty much all I saw on this release was this thread and one on melodicrock.com too. Aside from that, no indication from anywhere that a new disc was on the way. End of the day, I like this new one. I just wish these last 2 albums were as easily and cheaply available as their first few releases...
  13. Excellent disc that, as per the results to this poll, I never see anyone ever talk about. 'Hell can wait' is my favourite, but most songs on this are great... especially from track 5 onwards.

  15. Yeah, it also looks like he couldn't see it coming anyway because of the rim of his hat. lol.
  16. Smashable. Honestly, I wouldn't buy any of it but most these girl pop "rock" artists are listenable if your wife has the radio on and you're forced to listen to it.

  18. Wow, awesome. Thanks for the link!!
  19. I'll watch the video at home tonight, but what did he say? Was it really that bad or are people just being pussies again?
  20. Fuck the Eels. Fuck being tired. Fuck working. Fuck winter and being cold and fuck not living on the mid north coast!
  21. Smashed about 800 Hahn Super Drys and Outbacks over the weekend up at my brother's house, and then went out with a couple of mates last night to watch the f*cking c*nt Eels get smashed and had another quiet 6 Super Drys in the process. At least something good came out of that game.
  22. Trimmed, but not fanatically. I tried bare once but I kept knocking all my friends and family and strangers over with my uncontainable penis.
  23. Looks like the computers are finally back online. But there's no nachos here.
