Wow, real nice find here, mate. 'Fake the moment' and 'Asleep at the wheel' sound awesome. I like that. They actually remind me a lot of Diffuser - quiet verses and monster choruses. I'll be looking forward to a release from these guys.

What's the story with this CD? Had this one for ages and always loved it. It's come to a time where I need to know more about it. The copy I have doesn't have a date on it and the insert is just a single double sided thing. Details are sparse. Anyone know if this the only kind of copy floating around, or is there a full booklet etc? Anyway, not too concerned about that. The main site says it was released in 1995. So anyone knows if this was recorded in 1995 or was it a few years earlier? It's got a great production job and some pretty beefy riffs too. No doubt there are a couple of fillers, but you'd be hard pressed to not love stuff like 'Maryanne', 'Waiting for You', 'Fantasy' or the monster title track. Anyway, what happened to these guys? Does anyone in the band have any other projects? The vocalist has a really great voice on him. What do people know about these guys?

This is a good disc and I too got it for absolutely nothing in the Secondspin sales. For some reason it was already down to about $2, plus free shipping and 25% off when I got it - they pretty much paid me to take it. Very solid CD. I do like this one. The opener is a cracker.

Did you see the cover? Nothing budget looking about that set of cans. I'm kind of suprised there hasn't been a thread about this disc. I wonder if anyone has pre-ordered it yet? It really is. The opening riff is sensational and I actually really, really dig this song. Should have made the CD. How can you not love a song that opens, 'Fuck yeah, we fuckin' rock, we love girls that suck our cocks...' These guys are fucking brilliant.

Had quite the hangover on Sunday morning. Good times on Saturday night. We had a 20% of all cases of beer sale this week at Woolworths and I cleaned up with 6 awesome cases. Well, make that 5. I bought a case of Bitburger after tring one my parents-in-law gave me recently and I thought it was great. Got home and had some on Friday night watching the Footy - not near as good as I first thought. So I have to power on through that case, but after that I have 2 x Platinum Blondes, 2 x Coopers Pale Ale and 1 x Chang Beer too look forward to.

I've wanted a shirt from every show I've been too, but yeah, I think they start at au$40 at the very least and sadly I just don't have that to spend.

Nice. Good to finally see some appreciation for one of my personal faves, 'Girl from Oklahoma'. I just think everything about the song is superb. The thing I love most of all is that you know they're sitting back laughing at the fact that they've written this catchy as hell song that has listeners singing along to 'Come on pretty baby suck my balls all night' all over the place. Oh, sorry. (I can't count. It's summer; I shouldn't HAVE to use my brain til the kids come back in the fall. lol) If I'm remembering correctly, I think that's the one with some drawn in "Loch Ness Monster" looking thing in the water behind her. That one is REALLY cheesy! (And I couldn't figure it out when I first saw it months ago. Just figured it out now when looking at it again before posting.) HAHA! My first instict was obviously to look at that but I just thought it was some logs floating around. Just checked again (what a chore to have to see her again) and I still think it just looks like logs or something. Man she's delicious, though.
