  1. Yep, excellent disc. Much, much better than that 'Out of the Can' disc that came out a few years ago.
  2. According to Melodic.net - "Tupelo Honey has finished pre production for the album. Make sure to keep your self in the loop on shows this summer so you can see some new material in the set!" ------------------------------ Not clear if this will be all new songs or contain some from the Machines & Robots EP. Whatever its good news. Yeah, either way I'm interested. To be honest, I'd hope the songs off the EP would be in there as I only have them digitally and I have no desire to buy and EP so if they're on this I'll be happy. This could be a really, really good album.
  3. pussy. I get up at 2am everynight..........and 3.30am and 5.30am Aussies are wimps ;-) or have intercourse what's that LOL! Don't ask me.
  4. Women's tennis is a fuckin joke. period. I agree at the moment. They're generally fucking useless. Imagine two players as patchy as Venus and Serena Williams still being on top after what, 40 years now? And for that Safina piece of shit to get to a semi-final? What the fuck? And why are the lookers (Ivanovic) always so fucking useless?!
  5. WTF?! What do you mean? Is Phil Lewis out again? When the f*ck did that happen?
  6. Spun this again last night... definitely still enjoying it. I don't know enough about these guys to comment on their best album, but I think for me this might be it for me. I do agree with you, Tim, though, it is a little too polished. And by that, I mean I like great production jobs, but a lot of these modern producers keep it clean and tight as hell, but do not steal balls from the recordings. It just feels in a few places like the real power has been taken. As I said above, I think new albums from bands like Silverstein and A Day To Remember even come off sounding a little heavier than this, purely because of the production.
  7. pussy. I get up at 2am everynight..........and 3.30am and 5.30am Aussies are wimps ;-) Wimps without those creepy little children things, wailing in the dead of the night when all I want to do is rest... or have intercourse if someone's up for it.
  8. I'm fucking tired too. Didn't see too much of it, but tried to watch a bit of the tennis last night. The Venuses won again, hey? Seriously how fucking useless is that block headed Safina? What an awful player.
  9. We certainly do! I'll bring a pair of tuxedos so that we're matching. Can I leave it in your hands to book a nice local restaurant? Preferrably not one that specializes in Bamboo Ass And Cactus Linguine. I hear the monkey get a little squirmy when they see that on the menu.
  10. I never did have much tolerance for the trees that grew from my nostrils.

    Nural

'Up Against' is the best uptempo tune on this disc.
  12. 'Turn out the lights' - Steel Panther
  13. Air Kraft - 'In The Red' Steel Panther - 'Feel the steel'

    TNA Wrestling

Just so I'm clear, we're not talking Tits N' Ass wrestling here, are we? If so, where's the link?
  15. Firstryke - don't know either well, but I'd probably sway this way. The Glitter Boys - really don't know any of these guys but I'd try these guys out. Mad Margritt - great band. Heartless - this'd be cool to see. Julliet - another band I'd like to see. Baton Rouge - I'd LOVE to see LA Guns, but this opportunity would not come around as often, so I'd go for Baton Rouge. Wildstreet - easy choice.
  16. Lickity Split - I like these guys Hollywood Harlot - Don't know the other 2 but these guys sound glammy. Frontrunner - Nasty Nasty sounded cool, but I know these guys better and would love to see them. Britny Fox - I'd just hope the band actually resembled Britny Fox. Silent Rage - Even though they absolutely suck these days I'd see these guys hoping they only played material from the first two albums. Would be absolutely livid about missing Hericane Alice. Icon - easy choice. Lillian Axe - Again, even though they're terrible these days I'd be hoping for material from the glory days. Would be disappointed if they sucked because although I don't know any anything about Mass (aside from the average 'Crack of dawn') I'd be interested to see them.
  17. I haven't heard the first two album and I know nothing about the TV show but I did hear this new one. Hate to say it, but they didn't get me on board as a fan. It's not bad, but nothing here I could really sink my teeth into. I like the vocals and the first song was kind of cool, but the rest was just really average to these ears. Sorry guys. Enjoy anyway.
  18. The Glitter Boys - don't know either of these bands but I assume these guys are glam and the other sound prog. So I'll see these guys. Harlot - is this the female fronted Harlot from 1990? I'd see these guys 'cause I know the name. Frontrunner - easy choice. Bai Bang - honestly mate, if I were going and found out that Wildstreet and Bai Bang were playing at the same time I'd be seriously pissed off. But if I had to make a choice I'd go for Bai Bang... but be really pissed off about missing Wildstreet. Dirty Penny - easy choice. Would LOVE to see these guys. Bang Tango - who the hell are those other guys? I don't love BT but I'd go with them 'cause I know them. Big Cock - another really easy choice.
  19. Wildstreet - without question. Mad Max - don't even know those other two bands. Bai Bang - again, not familiar with the others but would LOVE to see these guys. Firstryke - Don't know any well, but these guys sound cool? Krank - who, who and who? I've seen Krank photos over at Retrospect and I guess I'd be happy to see what they offer. Beautiful Creatures - not a huge fan of these guys but don't know the other two and I would definitely enjoy these guys enough to see them.
  20. Cool. Seriously? I don't mind the 'tantalizing and brutal' part but the 'messier' part tells me there will be f*cked up arrangements ala emo and the 'noisier' part (along with the news they are no longer with the awesome producer from the last disc) tells me it'll be raw, unpolished and scrappy.
  21. The snow fell. "Hey, Jonesy, you see that? The snow's falling." And Jonesy saw it. He saw the snow falling.
  22. For the record, I also don't think there will be a second Steel Panther album. I hope to f*ck I'm wrong and there's 10 more (They HAVE to get 'Big Boobs' out to the masses), but I don't see it. What that has to do with the quality of this release is anyone's guess, though. I'm not saying they're that different and original myself (only to make my point). I've put them at the top of my list this year with "regular" bands, I play it often and love each spin, I don't see the difference between liking this and Danger Danger or Motley Crue - they're just another killer melodic hard rock band. That's what I've said all along. But I don't get you guys. On one hand you're saying they're doing nothing new, and on the other hand you're saying you don't like them because no one's ever been as blatant and pornographic in their lyrics, even for a parody album. It's you guys hung up on the lyrical content letting it prevent you from liking this that are telling me it's so different from the rest of the pack. My point all along has been that this is just an album full of excellent songs. Nothing more, nothing less. If you're going to let the lyrics get in the way of you enjoying this then you're creating a barricade that people more interested in the music at hand have not created for themselves.
  23. Poor priest. Does he realise he's obviously going to hell now? Poor fucker.
  24. Woke up at 2am this morning to see Hewitt put in a good fight against Roddick at Wimbledon. Poor bastard... got damn close (much closer than I anticipated, to be honest). Tired as all sin now, though.
