  1. Thanks doods. Wobbling asses are topz.
  2. Nah, I don't mind that. At least that will likely result in the end of a human. Filing papers has no positive side.
  3. These guys? http://www.myspace.com/fastlady Just heard a little sample there. Sounds a bit unpleasant. Is it any good? That's them, a bit unpleasant is putting it mildly, I only made it thru about 4 songs before taking it off....Now I know why it only cost 2 bucks. Cheers mate, I might steer clear of that one.
  4. My favourite part on that song has always been the 'Michael Starr, you motherfucker' part. Or: "your mama's in the parking lot Looking for you She's gonna find you when I'm done All covered with goo Oooh, mama's little girl got all sticky " Best acoustic ballad I've ever heard, bar none.
  5. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Out-Cold-Jack-Fros...1044&sr=1-1 http://blogcritics.org/music/article/music...k-frost-out-in/ Cool. Thanks for the links. Is the CD any good?
  6. Yeah, I was actually listening to this and their two EPs from 2008 back to back and you can even tell the difference there. They sure were no metal band on those EPs, but there was just a little more punch. 'Suicide Sunday' did end up being the best song on the disc, but I loved 'Unforget You' too. Here's the track list: 01. Permanent Heartbreak 02. Stupid Love Letter 03. Suicide Sunday 04. Finding Me Out 05. Stuttering 06. Cant Take That Away 07. How I Met Your Mother 08. Hollow 09. The First Time (Natalie's Song) 10. Molly Makeout 11. Unforget You 12. Sorry I Stole Your Gurl There are a few fillers here (quite a few), but the 2 noted above, 'Permanent heartbreak', 'Finding me', 'The First Time', 'Molly makeout' and 'Sorry I stole your gurl' are all pretty freakin' good. I'd call them a lighter version of The Click Five or Forever The Sickest Kids, but nowhere near as good as FTSK.

  8. Bert. Ernie is my pet catfish. The one Daniel and I ate last night.
  9. Filing stuff is the worst chore I can imagine, of anything.
  10. Who the fuck is going to sort out these fucking piles of shit for me?
  11. therefore out of about 35 songs, 6 are unreleased.. Two will appear on his next CD. One is a demo of 'Smile'. One sounds like some strange live Jap song 'Ted Poley' sounds un-essential. What's 'Wastin' your luv'? Is that on any other CD?
  12. Yeah, I saw them live back in 2005 when I wasn't a fan (Taste of Chaos tour). But they blew my f*cking head off and were actually one of my favourite bands of that night, just based on how awesome they sounded that night.
  13. wanker...and i agree he sounds shit on that 'party all day' song....almost cant hear what the fuck he's on about. Should have left him stage left. Or in rehab... or back in his home town locked in his parent's cellar, muted for eternity.

    Skillet

Yep, that song is absolutely stunning.
  15. me too...hilarious arent they! Yep, as I said in the other thread there's always something new on this one to make me laugh, even if I'm spinning for the 1000th time. 'Community Property' - Steel Panther

    GODDAMNIT!

Ewwww... young gal.....tan with beautiful tits. and no Geoff. no pix. I can sense these things. Just one pic?
  17. nice. Very nice. Obviously people blame me for dragging this on, but all I've ever said on the subject is in reply to clowns. But yeah, I'm more than happy to see it end too. I must admit, before this CD came along I've never seen people on this board actually tell other members that a CD is not worthy of topping their favourite CD of the year list. That one's new to me, but fair enough. I guess clowns are clowns for a reason. Anyway, to the fans - do you guys still find yourself finding new hilarities everytime you put this on? Obviously the hardcore smut lyrics are the instant bringers of laughter, but the subtleties are just as hilarious, imo. The 'meow's in 'Eyes of a panther' crack me up and I have no idea why. Just perfectly placed and delivered. The opening over-the-top guitar in 'Hell's on fire' even makes me laugh, and I'm not sure that's an intentional piss-take or not - and the scambled eggs lyric - lol. 'The shocker' is my least favourite track, but his vocal delivery is just so awesome - like he's really got this awesome news to share with the world. In fact, regardless of what he's saying or not, Starr's vocal delivery is as spot-on as I've heard. His actual voice, his delivery and authentic-sounding sincerity in his voice is just perfect. Anyway, that's me. Just f*cking love this thing. As far as I'm concerned, only Danger Danger or Treat have any hope of knocking this off the top spot for 2009.
  18. Disciple - s/t, 'Scars Remain' & 'Southern Hospitality' Holy Soldier - s/t & 'Last Train'

    Hi All

and theyre all gay ;-)) Nah, Lindsay's not gay.
  20. Thanks y'all, will do all of the above - the naked BBQ with Nick, stealing people's panthers, and just generally rocking shit up. And Pete and Dave, get over here and hug me like my bones are made of stainless steel.
  21. Firenote - s/t Alfonzetti - 'Ready' The Friday Night Boys - both EPs
  22. This and Danger Danger in the same year? Planned release dates around the same time of year? Amazing. I'm really hoping these two deliver and are number one and two on my list at year's end. Cannot wait for this thing.
  23. Here's a pretty cool new band a few of the guys here have been talking about: http://www.myspace.com/firenote Matty-Boo compares them to Wig Wam, Brother Firetribe and The Poodles and I guess I can kind of see that. Like Brother Firetribe, imo, they play their hand early with the two best songs on the album at track number 2 and 3 - 'Danger' and 'Sara La Fountain' are just spectacular, and then it's not until track 9 ('Suddenly) that the band really shine again. But like Brother Firetribe, there's no real crap on here. Everything's pretty damn good - just wish there were a few more highlights like those three. Track list: 01. Firenote 02. Danger 03. Sara La Fountain 04. Speed Freak 05. My Love Will Never Die 06. Don't Ever Fall In Love 07. Love Me Or Let Me Live 08. Mayday 09. Suddenly 10. Heartbreaker 11. She Stole My Speedos
  24. I saw that movie. It was f*cking terrible. My answer is still the same, though. Every week there is a new addition to the movies I should have seen but haven't list. I watch a movie about once every one or two months on average. Not a good stat for seeing the ones I want to see.
