  1. Hmmmm Captain Howdy enjoying Dee Snider music. Go figure....
  2. Song is ok, nothing special. That said, I find that most Slash songs are generally growers. Last album was his best IMO
  3. Song is average. Last album I managed to like 3 songs enough to put them in my best of folder. Prior to that it was 5 or 6. If I get another 3 of this new album I guess I'll be happy.
  4. ....well you can for the small investment of USD $25 https://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/donnie-vie-new-album
  5. My wife dragged me to a Baby Animals show last year (kind of compensation for me taking her to 2 Motley shows, Kiss, Alice Cooper, Ace Frehley, etc etc) Towards the end of the set, for some strange reason, the singer Suze picked me out of the crowd and dedicated a song to me. She called "the guy in the hat" and pointed at me. Everyone around us turned and stared and I looked kind of shocked and sort of shrugged my shoulders to indicate to everyone that I had no idea why she chose me. Anyway, after the show I picked up their most recent album and it's pretty good. not a big fan of female vocals in general, but Aussies are pretty familiar with her voice having been pounded with it through the radio over the years.
  6. Yeah, I think that's my issue with all his stuff.
  7. Every time I try out A JSS album I know I should be liking it, but I rarely do. not sure why.
  8. Yeah I was sure there was one somewhere. I did a search for Steel City in the subject line. I think my mistake was that I put a space between steel and city
  9. Couldn't find a thread for this one. After a few listens I've decided that these are the songs I really like off the album. Decent enough, and worth picking up. 01 Do You Love Me 04 Picture Of Beauty 05 Too Little Too Late 06 Someone Like You 08 Shame On You
  10. Just wanted to remind everyone how amazing this album is. Easily ion my all time top 5 If you haven't heard it, get it.
  11. Can only assume that the title is taking the piss rather then representing what is classed as an amazing album. The tracks I managed to draw from the album that I'll listen to again are 3. Downtown 7. Let It Be 8. All I Care For 9. Walk On Water 13. Anytime Anywhere So basically only 4 tracks as one is a cover, and even then track 3 only just made it. Others are good songs
  12. The Equalizer, in preparation for the sequel. I love this film. Not quite in the John Wick realm, but up there.
  13. I sense a Van Halenesque tour with Jack and Terry. I'd pay to see that. I like lots of Terry GW stuff.
  14. Yeah that one stood out but in a total album kind of way, in that I listen to it as a whole album rather than having real stand out songs.
  15. I've dabbled with this over the last year, and thought it was ok. Yesterday I had a 7 hour drive so I put a bunch of music on and this was one of them. This is a killer album. I really like 8 or so songs on it. Seems others don't share that opinion, but I think it's awesome.
  16. I made the mistake of trying to get in to Dare listening to 3 or 4 albums at once. All became a slurry of the same thing.
  17. You guys are missing out if this is the first you've dug them. That said, this is a killer disc, and leans more to the AOR side of rock than the matal side. Probably be my top album of the year
  18. I saw today that there is some achestral AD/Dc show coming up with Ripper Owens singing and other more local dudes making up the band. Doesn't interest me much, but just posting for anyone who might be interested. Just use Google
  19. Really looking forward to Dallas and Outloud. Scrolling down I get pretty excited to see new Butch Walker, then sad
  20. I'm going to go with this one. Opener off the album and I thought it was ok on first listen, since them has grown a lot on me
  21. Kissin' Dynamite is now in my top 5 so far I'd say the new Five Finger Death Punch is as well. And I'm not a massive FFDP fan. I worked hard to get into their music and it was worth it, but the new album is a cracker. So mu current list is Kissin' Dynamite - Ecstasy Pop Evil - Pop Evil Five Finger Death Punch - And Justice For None Frank Hannon - From One Place...To Another! Vol. 1 Steel City - Fortress
  22. That song is way better, vocals included. Hate that they didn't bother putting someone in with a bass just so it makes more sense. Kid sister, whatever...
  23. Here's my best of for Kissin' Dynamite From 5 albums. Only one from the first and 2 from the second - obviously the early stuff didn't click with me. In fact really obe from each as High Enough is obviously a cover. First song that I really dug was Six Feet Under which it turned out was unlike everything else they've done. 01 Lie For Me 02 High Enough 03 Why Can't You Hear Me 04 I Will Be King 05 Club 27 06 Sleaze Deluxe 07 Six Feet Under 08 Maniac Ball 09 Fireflies 10 Deadly 11 God In You 12 Running Free 13 The Final Dance 14 Ticket To Paradise 15 Hashtag Your Life 16 If Clocks Were Running Backwards 17 She Came She Saw 18 Highlight Zone 19 Masterpiece 20 Flying Colours
