  1. New Outloud. Not sure I knew about that one. Big expectations on this. HCSS - is it's gonna be good, bad or average...?
  2. Friendly advice. Get rid of the blue. Increase the font size a bit. Maybe change the font. I got excited for a new Tesla album, turned out to be Taste when I zoomed the page lol
  3. Reminds me of Steel Panther a bit. Average song, but will likely turn in to a good song on more listens amongst the rest of the album.
  4. Myles Kennedy - Year Of The Tiger. Imma liking this one.
  5. Romancing The Stone. Held up fairly well.
  6. lol. yeah looks like the guitar was added at the last minute
  7. Just can't do his voice any more. I was never a fan, but learnt to put up with some of his stuff. Just average.
  8. Yeah, Deadpool 2 was one of the few movies I've seen recently that I'd happily watch pretty soon after.
  9. Listening to this album again. I like it. More ballady, but I think he does them well.
  10. Yeah, I wouldn't have realised that there were two different bands probably. Bet I never did Nitro, so if there was never a post likening them to Midnite City I probably never would have bothered to try them out I guess. Problem I have here is there are so many bands posted who are new to me and most of the time they are full of synth pop. Which is cool, because I'm not at a hard rock.metal forum, I'm at an AOR board, but sometimes I don't bother with the new stuff unless I'm in the mood for a crapshoot
  11. Crank Up The Weekend is kinda average and weird electro drums in Waiting On You, but I'll definitely pick this one up as I know I'll really dig it. In another thread I mentioned that I had not bothered with this band. I figured out why. I was thinking Nitro. Who I was never in to.
  12. #2 was not as good as the first for me. Leaned closer to James Bond and further from John Wick. Very backstory oriented. hopefully if there's a third they can get closer to the first file.
  13. That's pretty helpful for me I wouldn't have bothered with Nitrate as I've never heard them before and I'm not really looking for new music at the moment. But based on what you said I'll have a listen.
  14. I actually got hit by a bible. And I didn't get to keep it either. And my friend got a pick.
  15. Really? I saw them here in probably the late 80's Not sure if they've been back since. Might be worth a look. I'd want to see a setlist first as they are a band who traditionally plays the songs I like less and not the ones I like more.
  16. 99% of albums have some shit on them. 2 or 3 songs are crappy if you're lucky. Usually more like 4 or 5 are pretty unmemorable. So long as the other songs there are good/great/outstanding I'm happy Just a matter of cutting the crap as Jesse Dupree would say
  17. Setlist I saw was Postcards From the Past Cradle of Love Can't Break Me Down Dancing With Myself Flesh for Fantasy Save Me Now Ready Steady Go Sweet Sixteen Eyes Without a Face L.A. Woman Guitar Solo Whiskey and Pills Blue Highway Rebel Yell White Wedding Drum Solo Mony Mony Missing Hot In The City Eyes Without A Face To Be A Lover Speed But you never get all the songs you want and I was really impressed with the set list.
  18. I picked this one up after seeing him in concert and he played a song or two from it and they sounded ok. The songs I took away from the album are Can't Break Me Down Save Me Now Postcards From The Past Kings & Queens Of The Underground Eyes Wide Shut Not a bad effort, and overall a great album.
  19. Listened to this a couple of times and it's actually pretty great. Like the first album, they pile a bunch of great songs on early, which is a good thing for me. This will likely be in my top 5 this year. Side note: I'd Understand always kind of reminded me of a Steel Panther song.
  20. Dee Snider - For The Love Of Metal Like most Dee post TS music, it takes me a few listens to get in to. In fact that could be said for the majority of music closer to 'metal' So far the stand out is the duet with the female. Couple of other songs that will catch on as well I suspect.
  21. To be fair Rip And Tear is a pretty average song. I still don't 'get it' as much as som eo their other songs.
  22. Keanu. Kind of funny as they played a bit on John Wick. Mentioning bogeyman etc Could have been way better, but worth a watch.
  23. I could just call for street justice....
  24. For me Kennedy took time to come to terms with. Never really saw him as mimicking Axl, but he has a unique voice for sure.
