  1. Kingsman was awesome. Sequel not so much
  2. Karate Kid 2 - the one with Hilary Swank in it. Just because it was on TV. Was pretty average. Over The Top - again because it happened to be on TV. Typical lame ass take on Rocky with arm wrestling instead of boxing.
  3. Sorry, no idea. Shazam didn't help either. Have you tried a lyric search?
  4. This is a bit of a worry for me. I see an HCSS situation potentially developing Looking at my Best Of folder I have the following number of tracks from each album Steel Of Swabia - 1 Addicted To Metal - 2 Money, Sex & Power - 4 Megalomania - 7 Generation Goodbye - 6 I'm hoping that if they hark back to the early days it is at least modernised in some way.
  5. Afterpay is the new credit card for kids. Easy to access and use, easy to acquire debt. Sad
  6. What if... Jon Bon Jovi wasn't religious? What if... Sammy could keep to the speed limit? What if... Joey Tempest couldn't count? What if... Sebastian Bach had a poor memory?
  7. I've been to Universal Studios in LA, Osaka and Singapore. Always enjoy visiting, and I'd say that visiting on May the Fourth might be pretty exciting. Surely they put on something special.
  8. I was kinda taking the piss a bit by labeling them. To me it sounded like that, but I've only heard one song. Regardless, how they are classified is irrelevant compared to if you enjoy them or not. If I hear a great rap song I'll listen to it. This just doesn't happen though My originla point was that they sounded pretty unique.
  9. Headline to come... "GNR complain that everyone is downloading their new release"
  10. Based on the one song I've heard, Ima label them 'AOR prog with hooks'
  11. Never heard of them before. The posted song has a pretty unique style. I like it.
  12. That makes sense. I've put the most recent 2 albums on my list
  13. Not a massive Scorpions fan. Did World Wide Live and a bit more, but they never demanded my interest that much. Right now I'm listening to Unbreakable and Humanity Hour I and I have to say they are pretty damn good. Some catchy shit there - surprised me.
  14. Avengers Infinity War. Won't comment because spoilers, but I will say that the ending left the next movie very predictable for me and the twists and turns were diminished because of this.
  15. I've been doing some flying so hit up a few new movies that I normally wouldn't have. The Greatest Showman - instantly rolled my eyes when the dance scenes from 100 years ago were reminiscent of a Britney Spears video. Inaccurate for most of the script and kinda boring. Professor Marston and the Wonder Women - had never heard of this so went in not knowing what to expect. Turns out it was about a professor, his wife and the student they falling love with and form a full blown family with. Kind of interesting, but had little to do with Wonder Woman Battle Of The Sexes - went in with average expectations and they were met. Nothing all that exciting here. The Mountain Between Us - possibly not the best movie to watch on a plane. My wife isn't as good flyer, so a movie about a plane crash wasn't ideal for here to be catching snippets of. Probably the best of the 4 I saw. Worth a look this one.
  16. Yeah, they've edited the original version as well. Saw it on TV the other day with faggot edited out. Also in the version about they changed colour TV to LCD. Kinda weird.
  17. One band where the vocals were distinct. Never a huge fan, probably a fan like most people here where the "Turn Up The Radio" album was great and then the next one not so much. Song sounds OK, and I'd be prepared to have a good listen to the album if others were raving about it I guess.
  18. Nope. Ace is really an acquired taste. He's a pretty bad vocalist, disguised by having a unique style. 78 solo was good, a few of his Kiss songs were good. First real solo album was ok, second one not so much, then i lost interest. I have seen that he's up to like Fractures 8 or something. The first song was nice, but never needed a sequel.
  19. Zoolander. Walked in on a kids near the start of it and sat down. Damn, that movie is still pretty funny.
  20. I mean, it happens. I saw Sammy Hagar years ago and he played Dreams. The original version. Lately he's been making it more acoustic to keep within his range. But on this night he said something like "you're all in for a treat, I rarely sing this song anymore because it's so damn hard on my voice" And he sung it well, but only because he's not singing it all the time I guess. he adapts because he is like 70 or something now and can't hit the notes. Sadly for Jon, it seems his voice may have been on a much faster decline. Not much he can do. Guess he'll have to retire in his pile of money.
  21. So BJ were inducted into the RNR Hall Of Fame. Classic line-up was there, including Alec. Not sure I'd pay to see & hear this. Maybe time to hang it up? Looks like Vince passed on the batton.
  22. Red Sun. An old Charles Bronson film I don't think I'd seen before. Ursula Andress gets Andressed in the film Some classic lines throughout the movie, such as... Andress: "do you always try to shot your bed patner?" Bronson: "depends how good she was" Bronson to Andress: " From memory you weren't the best cook - better get started anyway"
  23. Yeah the above comment is pretty reasonable. Making one quick statement and then refusing further discussion (particularly here, where you see to have been treated fairly) smacks of someone who has something to hide.
  24. Wayne's World. Watched with one of my kids, who enjoyed it. Lost a bit of its charm over the years, but still fun.
