Not much worth seeing, in my opinion, comes my way. I plan to see Joe Bonamassa in Seattle in December, and I've convinced my brothers to go on the Monsters of Rock Cruise in February. Saw a local indie rock band called In Medias Res, last night. They, as always, were amazing.

Thanks for turning me onto this. I'm sure I've heard a few of these songs. I used to listen to a lot of Country music as a kid in the early to mid nineties. Some of their big hits sound more like AOR tunes with Country leanings, not the other way around. How long did they maintain the AOR sound? I love it.

I downloaded this app for my iPhone called "Prose with Bros." You know those fridge magnets with words on them that you scramble to make sentences with? That's essentially what this game is. You're put up against someone else, you both have the exact same assortment of words, which you scramble to make a sentence of more. Then you submit it, and it's left for the public to vote on whose is the best. I'm gonna start posting some of my favourite entries. "Sinister little monkeys walked grudgingly after the rainbow unicorn. Some of them tossing exploding cheese!"
