  1. Well... actually, I heard that was a good way to pick up chicks. How's that working out for you? Pretty well... except when I have my wife in the passenger seat. Oh... and my son did ask why I pealed his sticker and his mom's sticker off the car. I just told him it was obstructing my view. I s'pose that's not entirely untrue.

  3. I love all the Mariah releases. I missed out on the Pretty Boy release and would love to see it re-printed (I've been meaning to email you boys). Wild August is great. The Score was also fantastic. I'd love to see Bad Angels re-printed, too. Blind Gypsy is another good one.
  4. So he pops in, says "Hi" and promply f**ks off? C*nt.
  5. I'm still having a hard time accepting the fact that you paid $25 for a CD. What is this world coming to?!!
  6. Man, I need to find a woman that will sing along to my hard rock music, and not just Bon Jovi or the other lame shit. Also a woman who will let you drop her off in the mall so you can take off and go to your favorite CD store for 3 hours. Also, will give you a Megadeth Concert DVD for Christmas. That's my wife. You bastard! I don't have a CD store worth spending 3hrs in. You guys have no idea how much I envy your ability to take a short trip to a nice little music shop. I am not exaggerating that "3 Hours" with that record store that I go to in Calgary. That shop has walls and walls of CDs - from ceiling to floor. They have step ladders that customers can use but still not tall enough. And you have to be on your knees to have a look on those that are near the floor. Last time I was there, I spent 3 hours and I haven't had a good look at the Metal CD Wall because I spend all of my time at the POP/ROCK section (where I got my Daddy Dynamite). What more with the Christian Artists Wall, I'm sure I can find some christian hard rock/AOR artist there (a quick look - I saw some Petra CDs). Also, they have a good collection of VHS tapes, Soundtrack CDs (until now I haven't spend time on), and tapes. This is a far cry from the shops in Edmonton where most shops specializes in hip eclectic music. In my 3 years of visiting that city, I can only count by hand the CDs that I got from there. Maybe there is a reason to visit Calgary.
  7. Possibly my all-time favourite album. And for all the reasons you don't like it.
  8. Harsh words, but absolutely true. Parents don't seem to want to raise their children. Instead they hand them over to the Almighty God of TV, Music and Video Games. Then they want to blame those mediums for poorly influencing the youth while they continue to neglect to teach their children how to be a proper, civilized, contributing member of society. As much as I wanna beat some of these kids with a lead pipe, my anger is primarily directed at the assholes who neglected to raise them. I work with a lot of kids in this particular situation. My heart bleeds for them. They don't seem to have a chance.
  9. What?!!! You're out your mind! I love this show, and I don't recall being disappointed in a single episode. well actually in the first season, it's kinda exciting, while the second season still kept up the pace, looks like it's getting thin on the third one. For example, the first episode's villain isn't actually memorable and looks like a pass-by, but nevertheless i know this is a good show and I plan to keep watching, it's just that if this one compared to Criminal Minds or Prison Break, White Collar just fell off two or three stairs below Ah, but for me it's all about character development. I'll take Mozzie, Neil, and Peter over any three characters from Criminal Minds or Prison Break, or any other show, for that matter.
  10. well, its a decent rocking tune, with a slightly dodgy chorus..............surely 'My Angel Wears White' destroys it tho ??! I think that 'solid' is the right title for this album cos whilst it has a few standouts it is definitely solid, but not more..... I absolutely love the album and it gets better with each spin and sure "My Angel Wears White" is awesome but "Samurai" is just killer IMO and the chorus is in no way "dodgy". lol, I think it is............ I'm not sure exactly what dodgy means but I'll just leave this to differing opinions I guess. You can leave it alone, but now I'm curious as to what his definition of "dodgy" is.

  12. Yep, but "weakest" is still greatly relative. Currently have a few instrumental albums spinning: Bell Orchestre - As Seen Through Windows Air - Pocket Symphony Revolver OST (fantastic film, by the way!)
  13. Just arrived: Nuno Bettencourt - Schizophonic Blind Gypsy - Never Coming Home Blissed - Waking Up the Dead Cain & Abel - Cain & Abel Rainbow - Straight Between the Eyes Ratt - Invasion of Your Privacy Ratt - Dancing Undercover Queensryche - Queensryche + 10

  15. How long have you had that photo in your cache? When you saw that news thread you shit your pants, "I can finally bust out that 'Land Shark' photo!!"
  16. Okay, from now on, that's how you do cover art!

  19. Like I said, I'll be seeing them in February, and it will realistically be the only time I do see them. I still plan on making shirts, and I will try to get a photo with 'em.
  20. Valhalla Rising (2009) Very interesting. I enjoyed it. It's not shot in the typical Hollywood fashion. Quite slow moving, very quiet, very gory. Beautiful cinematography. Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) Surprisingly excellent! Suposedly considered to be the greatest movie of the summer, and Andy Serkis is expected to be nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his motion capture work as Caesar. Highly recommended. Bridesmaids (2011) Hilarious! Nothing more to say. You've probably already heard all the success this one has made. Go see it.
  21. Great disc. It's a shame they never went anywhere from this. I don't really consider "And This Is How I Feel" to be a proper second effort.
  22. Heh, I s'pose it goes to show how many times I've visited the site.
  23. Definitely sold on image alone. Hope all these guys make full length discs so I can get interested. Yep, I always love a woman in a corset!
