  1. I didn't know you liked KIX. Huh... I don't have an absolute favourite band, but I have favourites from the multitude of genres I listen to. I make big playlists for work, and I usually throw said various favourites on there. That said, I probably still don't spend enough time with any one of them.
  2. Well, when you consider all the advice given between this thread and the other--much of it from you--there is a bit of irony that I can't help but grin at--me being an ass and all. I'm sorry for your situation. I'll keep to myself now.
  3. Didn't someone post this last year? Still, good song.
  4. Shit, that seems like a lot of work. I've never sold anything, but as a buyer, when an item arrives not as described, I'm too much of a pussy to deal with the hassel. I just look at it, say, "Ah, fuck,' and am dissapointed in the waste of money. Then, again, most of the items I buy aren't over $100--or even close.
  5. If you do travel to see them I would pick the weekend of Sept 10th or the following weekend. For two weekends in a row they will be playing both Friday and Saturday nights on their home turf. That way you could catch two shows and have a bit of time to check out the Baltimore Harbor. If you do go see them... GET TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME. Awesome. I'm gonna start checking flights. If you hit a show or two... where would you be flying in from? The cool thing about this area is that you have 3 major airports to choose from... BWI (Baltimore), Regan, Washington National (Wash DC), Dulles (Wash DC). Let me know if you can work something out. I'd be flying from Vancouver, B.C. As of right now, I'm looking into the Monsters of Rock Cruise. I'm trying to get my brothers on board with me (no pun intended, but accepted).
  6. Confirmed. Nice. G I copped it bad on this thread on many levels On to some interesting news regarding the new BF record, Pekka & the guitarist have confirmed a reliable source that 5 basic tracks ( whatever that means, maybe they need to wpork on more keys, melodiies, harmonies, guitar solos etc... ) have been done but unsure when an album will be ready for release. As I said you'll be lucky if its even 2012......Nightwish duties will take precedence, as always. Man, eph Nightwish!
  7. I have an original copy, but I'd like to hear It remastered and some more tracks. Man, I leave here for a couple months and a shit-tonne of stuff happens.
  8. If you do travel to see them I would pick the weekend of Sept 10th or the following weekend. For two weekends in a row they will be playing both Friday and Saturday nights on their home turf. 9. Well, I did just travel 36 hours to see Petra, among other artists, at Cornerstone Festival, so maybe I can justify getting a cheap flight to see them. They're easily one of my favourites, and it kills me everytime I see their tour list.
  10. Oh, toss me a fucking bone! Will these guys never come out westward? I don't think I'll ever get a chance to see them. Maybe I should start looking into that Monsters of Rock Cruise.
  11. I'm back, bitches!! Must I even comment? My screen-name comes from their first album. And, I know, "to each their own"... ...but, if you love their first effort, I don't uunderstand how you can't love this new one. It's incredibly funky like "Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride." Electric Boys are the one band I've wanted to reunite, since I first heard them, six years ago. Funny how I was so skeptical about this, once they finally did reunite, but this album is incredible. I'm playing the shit out of it, every day.
  12. Not necessarily true. I've listened to it relentlessly, and I'm not sure I can pick a favourite from this release. It's easily my favourite album of theirs.
  13. I'd rate Young Frankenstein as his greatest work. And, being a huge Star Wars nerd, I'd still put Space Balls ahead of Blazing Saddles.
  14. Amadeus: Great film. Going the Distance: Absolutely hilarious. The Doghouse: Another hilarious film. Sadly under-rated. Megamind: Very well done. Slipstream: Too confusing for most viewers, and still makes little sense if you do understand what's going on. The Horse's Mouth: One of the great Alec Guinness comedies.
  15. Are you referring to the rifle? It's a CZ 858--I'm sure you know, but I thought I should clarify for everyone else--and I bought it from a bloke in Ontario. If you're not already a member on CanadianGunNutz.com I suggest you join. There are plenty of good deals posted daily. The crate of ammo I bought from Reliable when they had their Christmas sale. To everyone else, I'm sorry for not replying earlier. I sorta posted this thread and promptly jogged off. I've been caught up in firearms and shooting in the last month. It's far more addictive than I had anticipated.
  16. In the words of Borat, "Great success!"
  17. Touch of Evil I believe it was Orson Wells' last American film. I enjoyed it. The first three minutes is one continuous take. Very impressive! Tron Legacy Again, very good.
  18. Once again, I think only metaltrekman means what he says. I s'pose you Aussies are already experiencing 2011. You Brits and Europeans are probably sleeping. So that leaves us North and South Americans to wrap up this year. Let's do it real big! Happy New Year, ladies!
  19. Popeye If you're a fan of the classic Popeye cartoons, then you should enjoy this. Robin Williams does a good job of Popeye, and Shelley Duvall absolutely killed--the good kind of 'killed'--the role of Olive Oyl!
  20. Hey you pervs! I just finished busting open my very first box of 7.62x39 for my CZ-858, and here's a picture to prove it.
  21. Rice Cooker Sony iPod Stereo Merino Wool Sweater Boxers Socks Toothbrush Corner Gas - Seasons One and Two Scrubs - Seasons One and Two Black Country Communion - Black Country Communion Def Leppard - Pyromania Bioshock 2 (Xbox) Inge Christmas Ornament $100 Gift Card to the local mall
  22. Santa Claus Conquers the Martians Alright Freddy, you can calm the fu-k down; I've watched it, now. This film was hilarious, yet the title was misleading. I expected more tyrannical conquering. While this usually finds its way on the list of worst movies ever made, it stills is deserving of, at the least, one viewing from any film buff.
  23. Alright, ladies, it isn't Christmas here yet--not for another forty minutes--but tomorrow will be a little too hectic to do this, so Merry Christmas bitches! Stay safe and party hard--clothes, as with dignity, are optional!
