  1. I have about three or so of their studio albums missing from my collection, and I think only one of the early ones I never got round to picking up was In the kingdom, as after picking up High gear, Flytrap, Equilibrium & Unveiled because they were all cheap, I kinda lost interest. I think two of their albums I am missing are after those albums as well, and one is a remake of the debut I think
  2. No we haven't. Panther should stay comedy or call it a day. If they do a serious album it should be under a different name. Said it before and will say it again, if Panther go serious they will sell a fraction of their albums as they appeal to people who listen to this genre and those that don't. Do a serious album, and you lose all those who are just there for the comedy, not the hair metal.
  3. To be fair Whitecross stopped sounding like Whitecross when Wenzel was still a member, when they went all alternative. Stuff like Flytrap and Equilibrium were pretty shit.
  4. Not heard anything about this anywhere but its shown up on Amazon UK and checked the Frontiers site and it's on there too. Comes out 11/11/2022 Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the upcoming release of the latest album from Enuff Z’nuff, "Finer Than Sin". Now fronted by bass player and vocalist Chip Z’nuff for their last three studio albums, including The Beatles' covers album "Enuff Z'Nuff's Hardrock Nite", the band are still delivering the band’s patented power pop melded with hard rock tunes. Founding member Chip Z’nuff is once again joined by long-running members Tory Stoffregen (guitars), Tony Fennell (guitars), and Daniel Benjamin Hill (drums). “Finer Than Sin” showcases the musical stylings that have kept the banda loyal fanbase since the ‘80s, staying true to their rock 'n roll roots. "Finer Than Sin'' is the band's 17th studio album overall. Originally formed in 1984 in Chicago, IL, the band received their big break in 1989 when they signed to Atco/Atlantic Records. Founding members, Chip Z'Nuff and Donnie Vie were joined by guitarist Derek Frigo and drummer Vikki Foxx and they commenced work on their major label debut. The self-titled album was a monster hit and spawned two evergreen singles, “New Thing” and “Fly High Michelle”. Both received constant airplay on radio and heavy rotation on MTV, spending over 60 weeks in the Top 10. 1991 saw the band release their sophomore album, “Strength”. The album had more of a hard rock overtone and sustained the success achieved on the first album. The band made high profile television and radio appearances on the likes of David Letterman and Howard Stern and were featured in Rolling Stone’s Hot Issue as ‘The Next Big Thing'. The band soldiered on during the new musical climates of the ‘90s and '00s and went on to release over a dozen more studio records. Tracklisting: 1. Sound Check 2. Catastrophe 3. Steal The Light 4. Lost And Out Of Control 5. Intoxicated 6. Hurricane 7. Trampoline 8. Temporarily Disconnected 9. God Save The Queen 10. Reprise Line-Up: Chip Z’nuff - Bass Tory Stoffregen - Guitars Tony Fennell - Guitars Dan Hill - Drums

  6. Ok, I only have access to the UK site but it's pretty much as I said Most expensive version is £434.99 and contains UYI Super Deluxe 12-LP box with 97 total tracks – 63 unreleased audio & video tracks. UYI I & II albums remastered for first-time ever. LIVE IN NEW YORK & LIVE IN LAS VEGAS albums are first-ever-released complete concerts for UYI-era GN’R. LIVE IN NEW YORK Blu-ray features full concert film in HD with Atmos, 5.1 & stereo audio. 100-page hardcover book with unreleased photos & images. Bonus items include replica Conspiracy Inc fan club kit, 10 double-design lithos, 4 backstage passes & much more. So that's the vinyl boxset with all the crap Next up is the CD version which comes on less discs than the vinyl and costs £264.99 (£295.99 with a hoodie added, £272.99 with a t-shirt instead of hoodie) UYI Super Deluxe 7-CD box with 97 total tracks – 63 unreleased audio & video tracks. UYI I & II albums remastered for first-time ever. LIVE IN NEW YORK & LIVE IN LAS VEGAS albums are first-ever-released complete concerts for UYI-era GN’R. LIVE IN NEW YORK Blu-ray features full concert film in HD with surround & stereo audio. 100-page hardcover book with unreleased photos & images. Bonus items include replica Conspiracy Inc fan club kit, 10 double-design lithos, 4 backstage passes & much more. There are cheaper versions, but they only contain 4 CDs or vinyl and no blu rays.
  7. Probably be the same as Appetite, an overpriced collection with all sorts of bits of paper in it with pictures etc, and then a disc only version for $100-$150
  8. Another cover, and while it is a lil bit heavier than the original, I do find it to be unecessary again. And same anoying "special effects".
  9. I think the UK is one of their biggest markets. Can't even tell you off the top of my head how many times I have seen them. Only stopped going to their gigs because their ticket prices started getting lumpy and the last few times I saw them they kept doing the same jokes in between songs.
  10. Finally announced https://steelpantherrocks.com/blogs/news/announcing-our-new-bassist
  11. Different situation. Rock sugar record the songs themselves so can rewrite parts of the music to make them fit better (and they have two albums as they released a digital only album last year) What Bill and the likes of Wax Audio (who has been going the same length of time as Rock Sugar) do is mix the original tracks, which in many ways is actually trickier. I love Rock Sugar and what they do, but for me these mash ups done by Bill and Wax Audio are on another level.
  12. Only interested in hearing Call me as the other two songs are on the second album, Never say never and I would hazard a guess that the acoustic version of More than words can say is the version that appeared on the first volume of VH1 Metal Mania Stripped.
  13. It's one of those treatments that is not a quick fix. He had his third surgery in August as the surgery before that had to put some kind of oil in his eye and remove the lens or something like that, and it had to stay in his eye for six months then they removed the oil in August and replaced the lens, I believe. Have seen videos of him without the patch, so I believe he wears it on and off.
  14. These are not the same recordings as on the debut, so could just be they never did the rougher version. Could be anything really. Not sure rights would be an issue as this is the same label that released the boxset of all three albums, and that included both the original version on the debut and a live version too.
  15. Mine just came through the door, and yeah got the same signed card. The first disc is mostly On target, but there are three songs that did not appear on the original, and Doin the dance is missing.
  16. Electric Callboy - Tekkno Bangalore Choir - Beyond target
  17. Ordinary man was a fantastic album only let down by that horrible collaboration with Post Malone (It's a raid). The second collab with him which I think was a bonus track (Take what you want) or something was not as bad, but still weak compared to the rest of the album. The collab with Elton John though was how collabs should work. Gonna pick the new one up soon. Just too much going on right now.
  18. Typical Frontiers these days. Gone are the days we got actual bonus tracks, replaced by acoustic, piano or live versions etc
  19. Gah, the search function on this site failed me. Searched "About us" including the quotation marks and it came back with nothing, so posted in the music video forum earlier.
  20. Without sounding like I am taking a dig at the guy who started this topic, but I think his take on these entries kinda encapsulates what you are saying without the crappy low/high votes. We could all go through the site and pull up lists like these over underrated or overrated albums, but it is all personal choice. Just to take one example from that list, Treat - Coup De Grace. I like Treat and have most of their albums apart from a few recent ones and CDG just never did it for me. It's all very well played and all that, but it just did not hook me like Organized crime, for instance. Whatever I rate it at, is just my personal choice just as it is his choice to rate it higher than I would. There are also albums I would rank incredibly high and other people would probably say 50% or lower. Not my place to question them as we obviously have differing tastes. As Dan said though, I think the rating system these days is pretty much redundant as it always seems to be the same handful of people scoring them. And when you only have maybe 5 or 6 people doing the ratings, it only takes one person with a different opinion to make an album drop down the ratings heavily.
