  1. I see he was on the last two albums, but seems he left in 2019
  2. Steve Lynch still in the band. And as far as I know Steve Plunkett is still alive as well.
  3. Like anything, I will give it a listen and make my judgement then as it does have several people in whose music I enjoy, but these team ups are no longer that special anymore as they do way too many. Black Swan at least gives hope that good things can happen, but then again the quality of the members of that group is pretty stellar. As much as I like Stryper/Firehouse, I can't say Robert Sweet or Perry Richardson excite me, and I am fairly new to James Durbin. The other guy, like Matt Starr in Black Swan, I have never heard of.
  4. From FaceBook Autograph 42m · It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts to announce the unexpected passing of our cherished friend and founding member of Autograph, Randy Rand. At the time of death, Randy was surrounded by his beautiful and infinite love, Regina Rand and family. Although beyond devastated, we find some comfort and solace knowing the last couple of years have been some of his happiest as an artist and as a performer. Randy was the consummate optimist and was so excited to see the new direction, creativity and renewed energy with the band. You could feel his excitement- as it was quite palpable with his playing abilities, performances and the way he interacted with his beloved fans. As many of you know, Randy arrived in the late 70s Sunset Strip music scene and was an accomplished musician and seasoned studio musician when he rose to prominence as an original member of Autograph. Fast forward 40 years, our brother was still making an impact in the music arena with his charismatic stage presence, musical contributions, most notably, with our new album release and collaboration with Frontiers. Regrettably, there is only one Randy- a fabulous bassist band mate, brother, and human being. Collectively in the last couple of years with this formation, we spent numerous hours that turned into something magical while creating an unbreakable bond few bands are fortunate enough to ever experience. We had that…and with that, we will continue to honor Randy Rand, as he would want us to and honor our musical commitments and keep his legacy alive. At this time…we ask that you respect our privacy and we thank you for the continued love, support and light that all of you have shown him and us as we navigate these sad days ahead of us.
  5. Don't really know much about musical direction or anything yet (although their FB page is CleanbreakMetal, so that might give a clue), but looks like Frontiers is doing another one of their "throw a bunch of random musicians together" type projects. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Making a change from Michael Sweet joining pretty much most of these groups, we have two other Stryper members on board for this one. Cleanbreak is: James Durbin - Vocals Mike Flyntz - Guitar Perry Richardson - Bass Robert Sweet - Drums https://www.facebook.com/CleanbreakMetal/
  6. James Durbin - Memories of a beautiful disaster Enuff Z Nuff - Brainwashed generation
  7. Why are they weak? Because they don't wanna use a racial slur as their name anymore? Sorry but it takes more guts to admit you are wrong than go around calling everyone woke.

  11. Wall of sound is the name of the news site.
  12. Nope was announced as Electric Callboy as soon as they made the full decision. No other names thrown out by the band themselves to my knowledge
  13. That's not how it works though is it. He has tried to reunite the band and the other three won't allow it, and would assume that Bach has no legal right to the name. He can't just force his way back in.
  14. I love Erik. Guy really does have a great sense of humour.
  15. So been a bit quiet the last week as was finally admitted to hospital on Friday 1st April for my final treatment, the big one. Had my heavy dose chemo last weekend which essentially destroys my bone marrow, a few rest days and then had stem cell infusion on Thurs. Doing well for the most part right now but fully expect a bit of a down turn as it's pretty much par for the course, but all about moving backwards to move forwards. Will be in for around 3 more weeks depending on how it goes. Will try to pop back in here and there as hospital WiFi is free.
  16. Remind me of Towers Of London (well their first album, not the shitty 2nd one)
