  1. Just reminds me of Quiet Riot. Frankie was not even an original member, but you could kinda understand him continuing as he was at least part of their breakthrough line up, but after he died they still continued on with a bunch of members who had no real ties to their classic era until Sarzo rejoined a year later after being out of the band for the previous 18 years. At least when members of Dio continued working together they went out as a tribute act (Last in line, I think). It's just a smack in the face to the bands legacy to keep dragging the name out and pretending it's the original band.
  2. Yeah but look at the time scale those songs have been released in. We got the moves was released over a year ago. All that said, not really sure singles count for much any more, especially after an album is released. With downloads and streaming, singles can't really bring in that much money anymore.
  3. The statement is in the original post ... trying to get your post count up?
  4. It was only ever available in India, and the record label stopped making them when their contract ended, or something like that (Universal music group). I don't think I have ever seen a copy on sale anywhere. (last copy sold on Discogs was three years ago).
  5. https://blabbermouth.net/news/kix-issues-statement-about-jimmy-chalfants-onstage-collapse-postpones-second-leesburg-concert KIX drummer Jimmy "Chocolate" Chalfant "awake, alert, resting comfortably and in good spirits in the hospital" after collapsing toward the end of the band's concert Friday night (November 18). The incident occurred at the first show of what was scheduled to be KIX's two-night stand at the Tally Ho Theater in Leesburg, Virginia with openers AMERICAN JETSET. Earlier today, KIX released the following statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET regarding Chalfant's condition: "KIX drummer Jimmy Chalfant is awake, alert, resting comfortably and in good spirits in the hospital after collapsing towards the end of their performance at the Tally-Ho Theater in Leesburg, Virginia on night one of a two nights stint. While clearly a cardiac event, it is unknown at this time whether or not Jimmy actually suffered a heart attack. Jimmy will be undergoing a series of tests to determine exactly what in fact occurred. The second performance scheduled for this evening (Saturday Nov 19th) is understandably postponed with a makeup date pending the prognosis of Jimmy's condition. KIX appreciates the outpouring of love and concern for Jimmy and thank everyone for their courteous understanding in the matter." KIX's official statement is consistent with the earlier comments made by the band's touring guitarist Bob Paré, who wrote on his Facebook page: "In the effort to avoid any misinformation, with regard to Jimmy's condition- we left the hospital around 2 am. He was awake, talking, even joking a bit, and his vitals were good. He is currently in the best hands possible. "Without a doubt, it was a very dire, scary, and serious situation. No further details are known at this time. "Please keep both Jim and Cathy in your prayers." One source who was involved with last night's concert told Metal Sludge: "He (Jimmy Chalfant) was carried off." The source added: "It happened right after his drum solo. It was crazy. The ambulance was there within two minutes." A couple of KIX fans who attended last night's gig shared videos on Facebook, with one person writing: "Please keep Jimmy from KIX in your thoughts. He just collapsed at the KIX show encore at the Talley Ho. No pulse and lots of CPR etc. Amazing show tonight. I hope it wasn't his last." A second fan added: "I was just watching KIX live at Tally-Ho in Leesburg, VA. The drummer Jimmy Chalfant collapsed on stage just before the start of the last song. Lights came on, 911 was called and the show was over. Prayers for Jimmy." Back in September 2021, Chalfant suffered a heart attack at his home and was rushed to the hospital. He had immediate surgery to insert two stents in his heart then another surgery the next day for another stent. KIX was founded in 1977 and released its first, self-titled album on Atlantic Records more than 40 years ago. Their breakthrough came with 1988's "Blow My Fuse", which sold nearly a million copies, thanks to "Don't Close Your Eyes". The band continued to ride the hard-rock wave until 1995, when KIX took a hiatus. Nearly 10 years later, KIX reunited and started touring regionally. A 2008 performance at the Rocklahoma festival led to more gigs and the release of a live DVD/CD called "Live In Baltimore" in 2012. In 2014, KIX released its seventh full-length album, "Rock Your Face Off", the band's first studio effort since 1995's "Show Business".
  6. Have to say as someone who is a big fan of EZN and Donnie, I have found both of them have been up and down with their output since their split, but Beautiful things is without a doubt the best thing either has done in years. Loved that album from start to finish. And I dont just say that because I am on the front cover
  7. Just to play catch up (with not much) Chez Kane - Powerzone (signed) Nickelback - Get rollin' (signed)
  8. I thought Diamond boy was ok, and actually loved the title track, but Brainwashed generation while not bad just didn't do much for me. Still need to pick this and the Beatles covers album up, but Frontiers CDs are just too pricey a lot of the time. (all of their recent albums have been between £14 - £15 on Amazon) Unless it is an essential purchase, I will wait to see if I can get a used copy cheaper. (I did the same with Brainwashed and got it half the price a few months later).
  9. New video out today. Frontiers say that rather than a re-release they have re-recorded the album entirely.
  10. Never heard of this band but they are an Estonian band supporting The Bloody Heels at one of their shows or on a tour (not sure which) Musically pretty good, but the vocals I think will be an acquired taste for most.
  11. But what's funny, despite all his protests that he wants to stand on his own two feet, the band name he has chosen is the name Van Halen used in their early days. I get that he might get pissed off about certain things, but he comes across as a real dick sometimes. As for the song, it's ok, but sounds very generic.
  12. I think since Randy died he has changed his mind. I mean, not one single one of them has even been in the band for a decade yet. I think Daniels is currently been there longest around 9 years.
  13. Steve Lynch is starting legal procedings against the current band... hints at return of "real" version https://metalsludge.tv/turn-up-the-lawsuit-original-guitarist-and-co-founder-steve-lynch-the-legal-process-is-fully-engaged-against-his-former-group-autograph-hints-at-new-real-version/
  14. Although to be fair I did like the first Vice album and they looked atrocious on the album cover
  15. Well with their singer and female guitarist gone, they are still touring with what I believe is a temporary singer, but I hope their new image is not indicative of a change of sound as they look like some kind of 80s boyband
  16. Not the greatest singer, and song isn't amazing overall, but really captures the feel of cheaper budget 80s bands. Really like the guitar work though
  17. Looking closer at the photo, with the white outline on most of them it looks like the bulk of the band was edited in, so they probably have a template all ready to edit members in and out
  18. Never heard anyone brag about top 100 or top 200 before. In the UK if you are outside the top 40, that is not classified as a hit.
  19. Just found this on YouTube ... Apparently they are from Nagaland, the same place in India that About Us are from.
  20. Well he is pretty well known after playing for two huge names outside our tiny pool, Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie. Plus he got his "big break" playing guitar for David Lee Roth on the DLR album when he went under his real name, John Lowery.
  21. I wonder what the music video forum is for?
