  1. This is the only song I still have by them as it was the only song I really liked.
  2. Song is ok, but nothing that made me go wow or laugh my arse off.
  3. Better than the version on Wait, but not even close to matching the Steel Dragon version on Rock Star soundtrack.
  4. He announced a re-recorded greatest hits compilation back in 2018 that was supposed to come out in 2019 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band, but it never happened. This must be that, but it can hardly be called the 30th anniversary three years too late.
  5. Midnite City · *ANNOUNCEMENT* We are sorry to announce that we have parted company with our drummer Pete Newdeck. This was an amicable and mutual decision from both sides and we all still remain best of friends. We'd like to thank Pete for all his hard work, 5 incredible years together, and wish him nothing but the very best for the future! The awesome Ryan Briggs from Atlas will be playing our final 2 shows of the year with us, following which, we will recommence work on our fourth album which will be out next year, alongside the announcement of our new permanent drummer.
  6. I heard this song on the Peacemaker TV show, and first of all I thought it was Buckcherry as it had all the hallmarks of one of their ballads, and vocal style was similar. Then part way through the song a few of the lines I changed my mind to "maybe it's Tesla, as that sounds like Jeff Keith now". Of course it was neither.
  7. I love the fact they are all over the place, makes for a great album to be honest. I love the fact they have the obviously more comedic songs they are known for, but also some great "serious" tracks like Neon, Parasite and Mindreader. Hell, I even love the pop punk style of Fuckboi. My only complaint is the album runtime isn't that long.
  8. Thank god you saw that as well. I thought for a second I was having another seizure again
  9. I have about three or so of their studio albums missing from my collection, and I think only one of the early ones I never got round to picking up was In the kingdom, as after picking up High gear, Flytrap, Equilibrium & Unveiled because they were all cheap, I kinda lost interest. I think two of their albums I am missing are after those albums as well, and one is a remake of the debut I think
  10. No we haven't. Panther should stay comedy or call it a day. If they do a serious album it should be under a different name. Said it before and will say it again, if Panther go serious they will sell a fraction of their albums as they appeal to people who listen to this genre and those that don't. Do a serious album, and you lose all those who are just there for the comedy, not the hair metal.
  11. To be fair Whitecross stopped sounding like Whitecross when Wenzel was still a member, when they went all alternative. Stuff like Flytrap and Equilibrium were pretty shit.
  12. Not heard anything about this anywhere but its shown up on Amazon UK and checked the Frontiers site and it's on there too. Comes out 11/11/2022 Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the upcoming release of the latest album from Enuff Z’nuff, "Finer Than Sin". Now fronted by bass player and vocalist Chip Z’nuff for their last three studio albums, including The Beatles' covers album "Enuff Z'Nuff's Hardrock Nite", the band are still delivering the band’s patented power pop melded with hard rock tunes. Founding member Chip Z’nuff is once again joined by long-running members Tory Stoffregen (guitars), Tony Fennell (guitars), and Daniel Benjamin Hill (drums). “Finer Than Sin” showcases the musical stylings that have kept the banda loyal fanbase since the ‘80s, staying true to their rock 'n roll roots. "Finer Than Sin'' is the band's 17th studio album overall. Originally formed in 1984 in Chicago, IL, the band received their big break in 1989 when they signed to Atco/Atlantic Records. Founding members, Chip Z'Nuff and Donnie Vie were joined by guitarist Derek Frigo and drummer Vikki Foxx and they commenced work on their major label debut. The self-titled album was a monster hit and spawned two evergreen singles, “New Thing” and “Fly High Michelle”. Both received constant airplay on radio and heavy rotation on MTV, spending over 60 weeks in the Top 10. 1991 saw the band release their sophomore album, “Strength”. The album had more of a hard rock overtone and sustained the success achieved on the first album. The band made high profile television and radio appearances on the likes of David Letterman and Howard Stern and were featured in Rolling Stone’s Hot Issue as ‘The Next Big Thing'. The band soldiered on during the new musical climates of the ‘90s and '00s and went on to release over a dozen more studio records. Tracklisting: 1. Sound Check 2. Catastrophe 3. Steal The Light 4. Lost And Out Of Control 5. Intoxicated 6. Hurricane 7. Trampoline 8. Temporarily Disconnected 9. God Save The Queen 10. Reprise Line-Up: Chip Z’nuff - Bass Tory Stoffregen - Guitars Tony Fennell - Guitars Dan Hill - Drums

  14. Ok, I only have access to the UK site but it's pretty much as I said Most expensive version is £434.99 and contains UYI Super Deluxe 12-LP box with 97 total tracks – 63 unreleased audio & video tracks. UYI I & II albums remastered for first-time ever. LIVE IN NEW YORK & LIVE IN LAS VEGAS albums are first-ever-released complete concerts for UYI-era GN’R. LIVE IN NEW YORK Blu-ray features full concert film in HD with Atmos, 5.1 & stereo audio. 100-page hardcover book with unreleased photos & images. Bonus items include replica Conspiracy Inc fan club kit, 10 double-design lithos, 4 backstage passes & much more. So that's the vinyl boxset with all the crap Next up is the CD version which comes on less discs than the vinyl and costs £264.99 (£295.99 with a hoodie added, £272.99 with a t-shirt instead of hoodie) UYI Super Deluxe 7-CD box with 97 total tracks – 63 unreleased audio & video tracks. UYI I & II albums remastered for first-time ever. LIVE IN NEW YORK & LIVE IN LAS VEGAS albums are first-ever-released complete concerts for UYI-era GN’R. LIVE IN NEW YORK Blu-ray features full concert film in HD with surround & stereo audio. 100-page hardcover book with unreleased photos & images. Bonus items include replica Conspiracy Inc fan club kit, 10 double-design lithos, 4 backstage passes & much more. There are cheaper versions, but they only contain 4 CDs or vinyl and no blu rays.
  15. Probably be the same as Appetite, an overpriced collection with all sorts of bits of paper in it with pictures etc, and then a disc only version for $100-$150
  16. Another cover, and while it is a lil bit heavier than the original, I do find it to be unecessary again. And same anoying "special effects".
  17. I think the UK is one of their biggest markets. Can't even tell you off the top of my head how many times I have seen them. Only stopped going to their gigs because their ticket prices started getting lumpy and the last few times I saw them they kept doing the same jokes in between songs.
  18. Finally announced https://steelpantherrocks.com/blogs/news/announcing-our-new-bassist
  19. Different situation. Rock sugar record the songs themselves so can rewrite parts of the music to make them fit better (and they have two albums as they released a digital only album last year) What Bill and the likes of Wax Audio (who has been going the same length of time as Rock Sugar) do is mix the original tracks, which in many ways is actually trickier. I love Rock Sugar and what they do, but for me these mash ups done by Bill and Wax Audio are on another level.
