lettard replied to AlphaMale's topic in AOR and Hard Rock
Fantastic.Brilliant Classic album...the only thing I aint big on with this Great release was the song "True Romance" never was a fan of that but the other 9 are simply perfect -
Congrats dude fuckin awesome

Fashion Police, Swingin' Thing or Pretty Vacant?
-
Know exactly what you mean...I rowed the same boat too...don't remember what changed my mind but glad it did...opened up so many more great bands I would otherwise not have given the time of day to...went through a faze were if it didn't sound like Hysteria(production wise) it didn't count...I mean seriously how many discs ever had that level of production talk about thinning the field somewhat...and all of this after loving the likes of Dio,Whitesnake etc long before Hysteria was even released

Just back from taking the family to see the new Star Wars Rise Of Skywalker movie....enjoyed it, not as much as I thought that I would but it is pretty good, some really good scenes and some bits that maybe don't fit for some reason or another but a lot better than the Last Jedi.

Some of this sounds like Catalano at times to my ears, its an excellent release and doesn't sound like an indie at all

Eclipse - Paradigm (Out October 11th, 2019)
lettard replied to Y&TForever's topic in AOR and Hard Rock
Yeah should be a definite top 5 for me -
Great news on the hopeful new album next year, would fit in with their release every 2 years since the debut but the re-recording of a 9 year old song from said debut doesn't make sense nor add anything to it for me
-
Dunno what to think as apart from their debut album I was never that much of a fan of the other releases apart from THC Grooove from Freakshow but i'll give em a chance and as Alpha pointed out Lies, Deceit, & Treachery sounded very good indeed in their short lived career.
-
Glad to hear that you're ok... we don't really have to deal with wild animals here on the roads...the odd rabbit, fox or badger here and there and very occasionally a sheep or cow .
-
Heard it..its quite good but won't break my top 10.
-
I have to agree with that,I never really have liked his vocals, loved TNT Intuition when it was released, played it over and over on my Walkman but fell out of love with it years ago for some reason(his voice most likely) this isn't as bad though and I sort of like the album ,still not my thing, music sounds fine though.

Out Of The Silence - Dare

Such sad news,my wife is a big fan of Roxette since the start. R.I.P Marie

Yeah it is Ghostbusters Afterlife...which is pretty much part III because the kid in the film is Spenglers grand daughter by the looks of things...looks good but wasn't what I was expecting...they've taken it out of the big city and into the country...which is different I suppose.
-
Yeah I've got Grinch on for the kids...the 2019 version...I much prefer the over the top Carrey version myself
