  1. Yeah I liked that Soul Kitchen release also, nice feel to that one I never got the Bakers Pink thing,I mean even up to a few years ago it was still a rare cd and thus must be good(not )
  2. Yeah id agree with that,in fact that's just sums up Rev Saints in a nutshell for me.
  3. I think the word singer is stretching it the music was good though, but it was one that I never purchase due to Mr Lion.
  4. I bought that cassette based on "Cryin' Out" still love that track...don't remember the rest, which speaks volumes for it.
  5. Yeah I' Napolean...what the fuck was that all about...the vocals were horrible if I remember rightly. Must have a check and see,I;m bound to have something in a box somewhere that I regret buying but did so based on image not musical content...and chances are I probably still have...just like I'Napolean
  6. Yeah i'd agree, the first two H.E.A.T albums are great to my ears,a different kind of beast as what they have become, but I remember well going all out to find their debut after hearing the song "cry" and the Freedon Rock is not too shabby also.
  7. Liking this a lot,aye it may seem a bit generic to some but it just sounds like Rev Saints doing what they always do,no bad thing, and as stated Doug is on fire...maybe too many ballads but they do em so well
  8. Yeah both are well worth swotting up on
  9. Bought this on the back of hearing Scratch My Back on MTV Headbangers Ball...wasn't disappointed,it still gets regular spins from me time to time,as stated already their other output wasn't great...but this...this is a gem
  10. Sorry dude, jumped the gun so to speak and took it I only got one,the others I mentioned can be seen as votes then
  11. totally agree dude, both Passion and Rev Saints are top class...if I could write songs & play music(properly) Passion is how I would like it to sound
  12. Brilliant e.p pity they couldn't just wait and have a full release...because as tts42572 pointed out its still priced as full priced release and with postage it was actually more expensive for me...worth it in a way because it is so good but a few more tunes wouldn't have went a miss but these guys are just growing and going from strength to strength.
  13. Babylon A.D was a pretty good comeback album liked that one a lot....but of the list above I went with Kane Roberts, that was a major disappointment for me because I so wanted another Saints & Sinners even though I knew that I wouldn't...but one can hope..so many others there Steelheart,Spread Eagle,Roxanne,Jetboy & Roxy Blue were awful for me...and as Crazysam added Enuff Z' Nuff & Quiet Riot as both recent release sucked so much balls...but then again I wasn't holding out hope in either of those bands, others had promise but ultimately were let downs. wait could I vote for more than 1?
  14. I think the problem is that they veer off in all directions music stylewise and I just wise they stayed with bluesy hard rock sound that sounds best.
  15. Enjoyed that ,the guy seems like he's really up for a laugh ,good stuff ,thanx Stefan
  16. Heard this and after the first couple of tunes was excited by it,it was the most like a lynch mob album id heard in years, but nah it wasn't really my thing and I was disappointed by it overall if i'm honest,it has some moments but some is about it
  17. Listened to this a few times today and I must say I agree with Captain Howdy...fucking great stuff...really enjoying it,it just sounds so good and a proper feel good 80's hard cd(still reminds me of Jagged Edge) rock, not a ballad in sight...although the new Revoultion Saints(also listened today) more than makes up for that
  18. Yeah have my record player but have sold all the vinyl years ago except the singles, and looking in the attic found that I still have Warpdrive - Gimme Gimme & Vicious Rumours - Digital Dictator, but I won't be starting to buy vinyl again.
