  1. I really wish I wasn't strapped for cash. I want to get Oney and Cobra Dane. Shake City is also one I want, but I no longer see it on the site. I see lot of good stuff. I hope I can get some money in time.
  2. Any chance you can get your hands on the WTG catalog? I would love to know if Beau Nasty has any extra tracks lieing around. I love Dirty, But Well Dressed. Just wished there was more out there.
  3. I think wanting indie bands to comeback is a dream we all have. I assume that's the reason why labels like this one are created. If Doxy reunited and played a gig in Tulsa it would probably bring a tear to my eye. I feel the same way about Jungle Blue and so many of the other long lost bands out there. Some of those bands deserved so much more.
  4. What's the new Oney release? Is it more unreleased demos or new material?

    SISTER

Why can't any of these bands be from the States? That would be so awesome to actually be able to see bands like this live.
  6. You guys have never heard of Chrissy Moran? I find that hard to believe. It looks like you would have listed every girl under the sun by now. Look how long this thread is.
  7. Lol. Bear Whiz beer couldn't be real. That's like that Red Tick Beer on The Simpsons. It's just not something you could find in real life.
  8. I have to laugh when I see the name Dreamstreet because there was a boy band with that name. It was a bunch of kids that couldn't have been over 15 at the time. I would hate to have been in a band and have something as wretched as a boy band use the same name later.
  9. I want to know where my hot sauce is too. I can't wait to get it. I also wished I had some money. You need money to buy tacos. Tacos are the only way to really eat hot sauce. Without it hot sauce just isn't the same.
  10. I loved the first Southgang album. I thought the second was alright. I was at a music store and I saw a cd with some gay looking dudes on it. I was thinking "queers" and then I saw the bands name and thought "oops". I wonder what Marvelous 3 was thinking when they dressed like that. And people make fun of Hair Metal bands for dressing gay.
  11. I e-mailed Stevie about Rozy Coyote. I happened to say that I don't like the way he runs Sludge but I appreciate his efforts to keep Glam alive. I'm assuming he didn't appreciate that. Funny enough I'm listening to Tuff at the moment. Couldn't say I was a fun of Tuff until I watched their videos on You Tube. I just couldn't resist listening to What Comes Around Goes Around now. I never got a reply so I guess he doesn't want my money, what little I have anyway . Too bad cause I kinda want a Tuff shirt.
  12. I was going to quote that exact same line. I forgot in my first reply and I thought I'd get it later. I love the fact that he actually told it like it was. No sugar coating it to be politically correct. I'm glad that he's not taking it lying down like so many artists have.
  13. I remember not liking this album very much. It doesn't sound like Poison to me. Should listen again to see if I missed anything. I kind of doubt it though.
  14. I like interviews. Interviews rule. It's always nice to hear the personal side of bands. If an interview is done right it's one of the best things you could ever read. Too bad that so many can't write good interviews. Take some notes, if you're reading, Metal Sludge.
  15. Wow! You made my words sound better than I did, Lisa. You should be a professional editor.
  16. I'm not even sure where to start. I don't own any Retrospect cds, but I don't own any Suncity Records releases either. For that matter I don't own very many if any at all releases on Metal Mayhem, Perris, Kivel, etc. I don't have much money to throw around and when I do I'm usually going after rare cassettes on Ebay. I happen to find quite a few things that are just awesome. Oney being one. Who would have thought spending $5 on an unknown glam band would give me something so cool. Of course, now Oney is signed with Retrospect. I asked Chuck about that stuff in the interview I did with him. At the time he said he was looking. Later I interviewed their guitarist Scott and that's around the time I saw the Oney cd at Retrospects website. I asked him about it and he said he would talk to Chuck. Never heard anything after that. My website project kinda went dead and I left it at that. I still want to get the cd from Retrospect. I now see that the second unreleased project Chuck talked about is coming out soon. There's no way that Retrospect or any other company could get that unless it was legit. I plan on getting both Oney releases. The samples of Cobra Dane also make me want them too. Guess I'll have to wait till I have some money. Honestly, the hate that goes on between the competing companies on these boards makes it hard to want anything any of them releases or sales. I'm already biased against Retrospect from what has already been said about them. I can't help but be that way. I've seen a bit of it without jumping in for my own first hand account. It worries me to even try. But who am I to judge? I don't know Sam and I don't really know any of the sellers or record labels personally to take a side. I would hope that everybody out there is legit and fair people. We all know that's not the case. I just wish that all of this would die off, everything would proven legitimate or not once and for all, and that everybody would bury the hatchet. If that happened I would then be able to buy some Hair Metal and enjoy it in peace while knowing everybody got their due. Until that hapens I don't know if I'll ever be able to jump in. Btw, for the record, I voted for Cobra Dane even though I don't own it yet.
  17. I bought some Crystal Hot Sauce today. I read about it last night. Too bad that I didn't have anything really good to try it on. Maybe I'll get some tacos soon. Also, has anybody tried Gator Hammock Hot Sauce? I remember seeing a news story about it a while back and I forgot about it until I saw this thread.
  18. Woohoo! I was wondering when Oney would finally get their unreleased material out. Oney is cool. I should e-mail Chuck and talk to him again. It's been a while.
  19. I've never listened to Mariah or Defcon so I can't say whether I would pay to see them or not. Keel isn't on my favorites list either. Is this Keel tour the reason Ron Keel left Iron Horse?
  20. My favorite is Louisiana Hot Sauce. It's more than just hot, it adds flavor to the food. It tastes good on tacos, burritoes, and tostadoes. It's also good on red beans and rice and the sausages we fix with it. Can't remember what all else I put it on. In recent times I haven't been eating as much. The salsa that Bueno has is so good that it makes it hard to use anything but it. Think my bottle is about to go bad. Just doesn't taste right. Should get some more. I've tried others and I can't find anything that is as good. Tabasco is freakin hot but doesn't taste good and I think Texas Pete's is alright. Too many sauces out there. I need to try some more. Also, not sure if it's true or not, but check this free sauce out. I sent my info in.
  21. Their name was too close to Hurricane's. I think that Hurricane was going to sue them over the name. Makes me wonder why there were no suits with all the bands having rox in the name.
  22. That completely confused me and since when has 80sMetalCollector been known as Sam? I can't keep up with this soap opera. It's more confusing than The O.C.
  23. What the heck is You Lookin At Me? I never even heard of that one. For me it's a tie between Young & Crazy and Bezerk. Something about Young & Crazy just seemed so cool. I should listen to it again. At first I didn't even like Bezerk. The change in styles between those two albums was a bit hard to take at first. Later I started liking Bezerk after I found some mp3's on the net while at school. What still impresses me is the fact that the band Oney sounds almost exactly like the first Tigertailz album. The singer of the band even said they covered She'z Too Hot. If you've never heard of Oney before you should find their stuff.
  24. poproxx has had many things I've wanted to buy. I mainly wanted stuff they listed on cassette. Not much chance you would get a bootleg on that format. I never did go ahead with it because I've never set up a Paypal account for use. Too many other sellers out there with stuff I want that accept money orders.
  25. I know that I've bought stuff from fellow Heavy Harmony members. People don't always use the same names here as on Ebay and other places. I thought it would be cool if everybody could say what name they use on Ebay and whatever else they use. If in the future I saw that name I would better know that I could trust it. Anyway, my Ebay user name is hairmetalfanatic. So far I've only used the name to buy stuff. That name sticks out. If you see the name hairmetalfanatic as a bid on something of yours you'll know it's me. Also, anybody happen to know who Metaltiff(sp?) is?
