Daughtry - s/t ; man I dig this thing. 'Over you' is just amazing.

Ain't it though? Simply awesome! Playing that song for the 3rd time here, this morning....I just wish it was a more 'positive' subject matter.....but it's awesome nonetheless.....

Was listening to:

Magdallan - BIG BANG

But it sucked (I can see why RadRockers was only charging $2.50 for this CD... he must have zillions of 'em and he can't get rid of'em!), so I switched to:

Final Axe - BEYOND HELL'S GATE (much better)

Hey Keith, that ANGELICA Greatest Hits must surely be packed to the full with tons of $million-selling tracks that we'd all recognise?

Now spinnin, the metal masterpiece that is:-

:rofl2: Hey, show some respect dude! The liner notes claim that "much of the material selected charted in the top 5 Christian Rock and Metal formats," whatever that's worth! I bet each of their albums sold "aluminum," if not "copper." :)

Okay guys, you really have me intrigued here. I've not heard the new Killswitch Engage disc, but I know in the past I couldn't handle the over-the-top screaming, even if I loved it musically. Have they toned down the screaming at all on the new disc? I know Jez, you mentioned the good vocals the other day. Does that mean there's more singing in place of screaming? I still remember seeing these guys live last year - f*cking kicked my ass- fan or not. Are they more comparable to Bullet for My Valentine this time round?

Anyway, I've been spinning:

Papa Roach - 'The paramour session' (again) ; without doubt the surprise of the year. 'Forever' and tracks 8-15 are just sensational. 'What do you do' is easily the anthem of the year, IMO.

Talisman - '7' ; pretty cool. Couple of cool tracks.

Kick the Kangaroo - 'Bits and peices' ; sort of like Nelson on heat in those first 3 stunning tracks. 'Last kiss' is mind-blowing. Shame about the rest of the album, though. :( Very sappy.

Misfits - PROJECT 1950

I love the Misfits dearly but I'm glad this only cost me $1.75... the novelty of 50s rock-n-roll songs done Misfits style sounds like a great idea, but Jerry Only (the only remaining original Misfit at this point) simply sounds tired. I think the poor guy needs to hang it up.
