I listened to Silverstein's '18 Candles' this evening... and it sucked. Odd thing, because I love 'Discovering the waterfront' so much, but am really not into their early work even remotely. :(

Fightstar - 'Grand unification' ; for the trivia buffs, like Tim (2) and Jez, who were talking about Busted the other day, FYI, this is what one of the other guys from Busted is now doing. This is 100% heavier, 100% better and reminds me of Funeral for a Friend. F*cking great disc.

I've no idea who/what this band are all about as I just received a sleeveless promo copy (I know that Matt Sinner produced it) but it's awesome stuff. Pounding heavy metal but with a symphonic element...
