What's a spinnin' in your CD player?

Recommended Posts

Hardcore Superstar-S/T....Yes Again but Damn it's So Good....

that does it.... too many have said they like 'em. Now I gotta check these guys out <_<

Me too... I finally got curious enough to check out their website and WHOAH, the song that came on when the site loaded damn near blew my doors off! I gotta find this new Hardcore Superstar CD!

(BTW, if you put "Hardcore Superstar" in your friendly neighborhood search engine see how many porn links pop up... when I did it in Yahoo Search the first site listed was the band and then there were about twelve million others that were all porn-related. You gotta love the Internet sometimes...)

That EXODUS album is incredible. Is very nearly the best thing theyve ever done IMO (is only the tailing off through the 2nd half that spoils it a little)...
one of my faves, Tim! Love to crank 'Blacklist' to at least 8 when I'm sitting in traffic

now spinnin...

Hellfueled - Volume One

(...dude sounds like Ozzy)

"Blacklist" is my fave tune too, there's no-one better than Souza to sing a tune about vengeance & anger. And it could easily have slotted onto "Pleasures of the Flesh" or "Fabulous Disaster"....

This mornings playlist:-

ROBIN BECK - Trouble Or Nothin'

ROBIN BECK - Do You Miss Me

Playing her first & last albums back-to-back shows how much you need a great producer to get the best out of an artist. Her (Desmond Child-produced) debut sees her really letting rip & scorching through the tracks. On "Do You Miss Me" she sounds like a hired session vocalist who can't wait to get out of the studio....

Red Circuit - TRANCE STATE

A friend sent me this promo to review for his e-zine. I thought "Oh great, another friggin' prog metal CD," but this one is actually not half bad.

On Deck:

Eldritch - NEIGHBOURHELL

From Behind - GAME OVER

This mutha does not kick ass. Once I write my review of this one for my friend's e-zine, I'm going to have a brand spankin' new drink coaster courtesy of Lion Music ;)
