Bit disappointed by this one on first listen. I have the Wounded Bird re-issue & the packaging's awful & the productions pretty poor. A bit like a poor-mans Annihilator IMO.... It got loads of good recommendations so maybe I'll stick with it....

It was a great record in its time but it may not have aged very well... I've loved that album since it was a new release so I may be slightly biased, but I can see how someone who's never heard it before might be a little "Ehhhh..." about it.

I agree, the packaging on the Wounded Bird reissue DOES suck, though!

Me too! I heard it for the first time ever. I've passed it up for several dollars a million times in 2nd hand CD stores for years, just heard it and I actually thought it was pretty damn good. Some clear filler, but much better than I anticipated. Much better!

MVP - 'The alter' ; so-so.

and just started TKO's 2 discs, which sounds like good stuff.
