great disc, lush of keyboard, close to Da Vinci, Treat, Dalton style, some patchy chorus on some songs, but overall a solid one with many gems like 'So Much For Happy Ending', 'Out All Night', 'Bring Home Your Love', and 'Kecia' being my personal fave.

Contagious - The Calling (2001)

finally got this for a cheap price, a very good disc i must say, the riffs are excellent, reminds me of Dokken but the melodic lines also reminds me of Change of Heart but it's heavier. I can live without 2-3 tracks, but nothing bad at all inside, and several of my faves are 'Hear It Calling', 'Time and again', 'Lost and lonely', and 'Flying High'.

I dont think its awesome, but I agree that it got some bad press which wasnt really warranted. A solid effort to these ears with only a couple of fillers on board.

[being released on the same day as WoA and Toby Hitchcock I thought this was going to be overshadowed, but surprisingly this stands as a very good AOR album - one of the better efforts Ive heard this year!]
