At some point tho I will have to play all four CDs from the new Motley Crue box set I bought as well!

Marchello - Destiny (Kinda light, but A LOT of talent displayed here...I believe I prefer their 2nd, unreleased disc over this one;good though!)

 

Y&T - The Ultimate Collection (Y&T rules! :banger: )

 

Johnny Lima - Made in California (I'm 5 songs in on this one, and it ROCKS!

metalmaniac I see why this was at the top of your list for 2003....excellent stuff!)

I'm listening to both Fifth Angel discs today, damn I love those guys...not in a romantic way or anything, so don't get any ideas...

I've heard OF Fifth Angel......but never heard them....

 

Can you tell me a little about them??

Perhaps you're a "fallen angel"...or better yet, a "Tainted Angel"... ;)

 

Fifth Angel is pretty straightforward melodic metal/hard rock. Lots of guitars, vocal harmonies. Very solid band all in all.

 

I'll see if I can't send you an MP3...I think I still have your email addy.

Hey, thanks!! I found them (the S/T) on the MM site and listened......yikes!! :blink:

 

GREAT stuff, but the message was just a leeeeeeeeeeetle too heavy for this "tainted angel" :lol: (guilty conscience???? :P)

 

 

Think I'll do some "Slamin" or some "Porno Star" this morning!!!!

Nine 24 - Five Bucks a Cup (A sleaze rock concept album....little strange but good...... )

That Nine 24 is piquing (always wanted to use that in a sentence...) my interest, sounds different.

 

Hey MJ, yeah Fifth Angel does have a pretty deep, dark outlook on things, I just love the music though...'cause I certainly aint deep... :crazy:

Easily one of my favorite bands. I liked 'em with Deris, and I like 'em with Readman. They really know how to write some good hooks, and the drummer is a machine. I'll have to check out Thunderdome, I've got everything else...
