I love Corabi,first came into contact with him when he joined the Crue.

As a massive Crue fan I still bought the album despite no Vince & I absolutley loved it,my only feeling is that it shouldnt have been released as a Crue album as I believe thats what lost it a lot of potential sales (a lot of diehard Crue fans refused to buy it,and anyone who liked that harder edge music was not gonna give a new Motley Crue album a try).

 

I then sought out the album by the Scream,which I also loved!

Since then I've picked up some of his other stuff (tribute CDs worth checking out are "Welcome to the jungle,and Forever Mod) including,of course,the fantastic Union albums!

By all accounts they signed to Now & Then/Frontiers and the album was called/gonna be called Bonfire of insanities (I think).

I cant find any record of it on the MTM site & Frontiers site is temporarily down!

You can actually pick up a demo or two on The Jake E. Lee Site.... . You have to be a registered member but it's free... I was looking forward to a release, but it don't look like it's gonna happen anytime soon....

 

Shame, I'm a huge Jake fan...

I am anxiously waiting a clean copy of the music in my mailbox. The drummer mastered it onto cd for me over the holidays! I can finally put away the poor cassettes and sad mp3 versions I had!

I'm actually listening to Signal this morning. It's a little mellow, but I like Mark/Marcie Free's vocals, and since I woke up pissy, mellow is what I need to settle me down so I can do something useful without breaking another keyboard

 

Next up is Badlands, 'cuz I'm in a Ray Gillen mood (speaking of Jake E Lee). That or Sun Red Sun...or maybe both. Perhaps some T.T. Quick later. I have Ink stuck in my head

Let's Rumble - Not too bad, still sounds like L/H, some good stuff on it

 

Livin' Off Layla - Mostly awful, Marq Torien lead vox on a lot of tracks, no direction, "Downer" sounds like the Chili Peppers big time...

What's the T T Quick like???

Heavy and crunchy. I like'em a lot but I wouldn't call them very melodic at all. I briefly took lessons from the guitar player many moons ago until I realised he was kind of a stoner and seemed to be more interested in whether I knew who he was than teaching me anything...plus I'm great and stuff so who needs it?

 

In all seriousness though, the band's very talented but they may be heavier than your normal cup of tea. Give it a shot, they definitely rock either way!
