No, those that know the Lord (live in agreement with Him) go by His Word and have turned away from the ways of the world and are definitely NOT carrying demons around with them. Metaphorically or otherwise.

Real Christians are new creatures in Christ old things are passed away; LOOK all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17) and they have renewed their minds  (Ephesians 4:23) and aren't living as the world does (James 4:4) having been translated from darkness into the Kingdom of God's Son (Colossians 1:13)

Christians would be singing about having been delivered from darkness and about living in victory as this is what the New Testament teaches Christians are doing... not playing out in the world's darkness muck and mire.

Unfortunately , most churches teach various false doctrine such as calvinism, reformed theology, ecumenical movement, and other un biblical thought.... so you can't get legitimate biblical teaching as the vast majority of churches which is in line with what God's Word teaches about the end times falling away from the faith.

I wish the old group Petra's music was a little more hard rock... but they are a good example of having something meaningful to say verses groups now days that claim to be Christian where there's little if any evidence that they are actually Christians.

If Christianity became illegal they couldn't be convicted due to a lack of evidence!

Actually, Satanists stole the upside down cross from Christians. It was one of the many symbols used by the early church.

Yeah, right... even if that were true back then, today it is what satanists use... Christians today would not be using that unless they are actually satanists

Just like the rainbow used to mean something good... but in these modern times you wouldn't want to put a rainbow sticker on the back of your car unless you wanted people to know you are gay!

Point me to a verse that says snorting cocaine is a sin!  If you know God's Word you would know that intoxication is a sin

God's Word teaches that His true followers are not be be friends with this world

James 4:4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

In this context, friends means to be in agreement with... so are you living in agreement with the things this world thinks is good and OK?

Or, do you live in agreement with the Lord Who says the wisdom of this world is foolishness?

People love their sin which is why the false once saved always saved heresy is so popular... cause folks want to be saved and live in sin too!

That's how one ends up spending eternity with satan in the eternal fires if hell!

Except that an upside down cross is not a worldly symbol. It symbolizes the crucifixion of Peter and was widely used by the early church, and is still used by the Catholic Church to this day. Now, had you said an upside down crucifix is evil/satanic, you would have been more accurate.

In the end, you couldn't back up your own argument, so you pivoted to a longwinded rant about something else.

Also, at this point, it might be easier and save us all some time if you just went ahead and listed the bands you DO think are Christian.

Are you saying I'm wrong? You can research it for yourself if you doubt me. 

In any case, your logic is flawed. Why should we give up traditions and practices because they've been adopted by unbelievers? "Jesus Christ" is a phrase used most often as an exclamation of disbelief. If we're to follow your reasoning, we should abandon that name. 

I'm not afraid of rainbows, and I don't believe it makes me gay when I enjoy seeing one. Likewise, I'm not gonna assume one's spiritual position based on them wearing St. Peter's Cross.

Just like the fallen angel you ascribe as master to anyone you don't like, you have a habit of selectively quoting the Bible to suit you. The Pharisees were also like that towards Jesus. And Jesus only interacted with them in order to rebuke them, so they killed him for it.

Your pride only turns people away from the love of the Father. And your willingness to condemn others is indicative of those whitewashed tombs. I actually pity you quite a lot, because you demonstrate no joy, just anger and resentment. You show no love, just envy and shaming.

You've made your beliefs known by criticising, how about using those beliefs to praise and promote Christ and what you consider true Christian music.
