5. Kansas

2. Dynazty

1. Palace

I don't know why you're so rough on Palace. You've basically said it's garbage everywhere on this site, but if I'm not mistaken it was in your top 5 albums of the year and you were very pleasant to it in that thread. Get your story straight, creep. ;)

never said it was garbage, it wasn't in my top 5.

BUT imo it's not great enough to be no 1 in 2020.

just my opinion tis àll :)

(it would prob just scrape a top 20)

Damn... Crazysam must be psychic! 5 out of 5 correct, with 3 out of 5 in their correct slots. That's about as close to a win out of the blue as we've ever seen, so I'm calling it.

first prize of a tongue bath from Geoff will have to be done via Zoom this year due to COVID protocols.

Awesome, I'll be looking forward to my prize.

Just swap #3 and #4.

  1. Palace
  2. Dynazty
  3. Unleash the Archers
  4. H.E.A.T.
  5. One Desire

No offense but that is very weak Top 5 imo.

That's the wonderful thing about subjective lists; they're all tailored to our individual tastes and preferences. So what do you believe to be better from 2020?

Here are my honorable mentions that didn't quite make the top 5 (highest asterisked):

A Life Divided - Echoes
Amberian Dawn - Looking for You*
Arctic Rain - The One*
Black Swan - Shake the World
Bonfire - Fistful of Fire
Brother Firetribe - Feel the Burn
Captain Black Beard - Sonic Forces*
Communic - Hiding from the World
Dukes of the Orient - Freakshow
East Temple Avenue - Both Sides of Midnight
Gotthard - Steve Lee-The Eyes of a Tiger
Jessica Wolff - Para Dice
Kansas - The Absence Of Presence
Ocean Hills - Santa Monica
Paralydium - Worlds Beyond*
Persuader - Necromancy
Rob Moratti - Paragon*
Sapphire Eyes - Magic Moments
Waiting For Monday - ST

The 'Black Swan' is easily the best thing from last year for me and probably one of the better releases I've heard in the last decade or so.....

It def needs more love than it appears to be getting.

I actually agree with Nolan. Good release and received quite a few spins.

Ok. Let's just not make a habit of it.

    • Also last couple of songs have an Axl Rose or Stephen Shareaux vibe to them.
    • He has such a familiar and somewhat comforting voice. For me he was the best of Krokus. The Blitz, Change Of Address and Heart Attack. Not to say I don't like otehr songs, I do, but he make Krokus a nice rounded package with great consistant songs. This song is a bit too AC/DC for me, but as usual hookier and a better tune than most ACDC songs
    • So I've listend to this enough to review it. Overall it's a ptrtty good album. Most of the songs are good or really good. Not many if any great or mind blowing songs. So for me it's an easy album to listen to. Most of the songs will be keepers, amny of them will just scrape through as keepers.
