Umm... why the FUCK was I not aware of this band before? Completely up my alley. New album is SWEET! (no pun intended)... and sounds like the production is better than previous efforts.

 

Not everyone's cup of tea, especially as it's a concept album, but in the Within Temptation/Delain/Nightwish vein.

Don't understand this at all. To my ears, this is melodic as hell. What is it you don't like? Too metal? Too symphonic? Too proggish?

Haha, no, definitely not too metal. I guess too symphonic might be applicable. But it's just too theatrical, I think, most of all. Lyrics I cannot relate to at all and have 0 interest in, and just too "operatic." Yeah, sorry my man, but there's not actually anything I like about it... at all.
