Doksdad
Actually, you're missing quite a few. If you are going to use those words, you better be more informed. Reece has a great voice, can't blame him for trying to keep our music alive. Support him, don't name call.
Geoff
Wow, looks like I missed something pretty vital here. I'm very curious now. Anyway, do you mean Adrenaline Rush as in the new band who released a good CD this year with weak female vocals??? How on earth did that happen, if that's correct? Actually the band is Wicked Sensation. Adrenalline Rush is the title of their new release.
Evil Rick
Wow, looks like I missed something pretty vital here. I'm very curious now. The original title of this thread referred to Reece as a "vocal slut for hire". I see it's been changed now. David Reece not only has a fantastic voice, but he is a very kind and genuine person that is doing his best to keep "our music" alive. To go off and call someone that is just plain wrong and I'm glad to see the title of the thread was changed.

My Little Pony KarpetRydOFunk Posted November 29, 2014 My Little Pony Report Share Posted November 29, 2014 Everything he's credited to on the main site: http://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/mainfind.cgi (for some reason you can't post links of searches, but you lot can figure out what to do) I'm not a fan of his vocals, but most people love him, and he is part of the solution - not the problem. The Rocker
I don't think he meant any real disrespect. Everyone needs to calm down. lol

Just means he gets around. Jeff Scott Soto was definitely a whore, too, a few years ago.
AlphaMale
And I didn't mean it as a negative. Just a lot of bands using his vocals lately.

melodicrockoz
It's great seeing David filling up more releases under his discography, he is a very under rated vocalist.
Geoff
The thing I don't get about these scenarios is the bands who hire him. Is he only ever hired as a vocalist for the album, and that's it? If you're a band, hoping to make a go of it, wouldn't it be better to look for a vocalist to tour with, and someone who will be a part of your band going forward? Personally, I have liked very few of Reece's recent projects. But good luck to him if he's that much in demand - of course you'd take the gigs if they were offered to you... but I don't understand the bands' thinking. Well, I guess they're hope is to have a prolific vocalist to gain a bit more publicity, but what about the future and touring...? Anyway, to the Wicked Sensation disc - that 'Misery' track is pretty awesome.
melodicrockoz
Geoff all this sudden influx of activity from David reminds that some 10 years back when the mighty Pete Sandberg was practically 'everywhere' I'm sure there's few other vocalists following the same routine aswell. AlphaMale
I do love Reece's voice. But a lot of the recent discs he's sang on (Tango Down aside) have been mediocre at best. Especially the two Bangalore Choir discs. Both were pretty lame compared to "On Target".

Then came Cadence, and although it wasn't bad it wasn't great either. Metaphor was even less great, lol. The Reece/Kronlund was pretty good and would be MY 3rd resent favorite right behind the 2 TD. AlphaMale
Apparently, Monsiour Reece is the new singer for Bonfire with a new album and tour in 2015. What? Yeah. I think he is mistaken. Reece is in the band EZ Livin' which features Ziller from Bonfire.

Just saw this: Andrew McNeice 4 hrs · Hootsuite · New BONFIRE album and tour in 2015, with none other than DAVID REECE as lead vocalist. Just saw this: Andrew McNeice 4 hrs · Hootsuite · New BONFIRE album and tour in 2015, with none other than DAVID REECE as lead vocalist. Well that's just terrible news. Wasn't Claus Lessman only one of the two original members for about 20 years now? That's just stupid - Bonfire is definitely not Bonfire without Lessman. Horrible idea...
