One of the best hard rock releases of the late 80's! One of the most over-looked, too...I was lucky enough to find it at this used CD store that I go to a little while back for only $8!

Jake E. Lee is just a phenomenal guitarist, and not to mention the late Ray Gillen...great voice...he's definately missed.

My favorite song off of it is, "Dreams in the Dark"! Followed by "Winter's Call", "High Wire" & "Streets Cry Freedom".

Impossible to pick a fav but today I'm going with "Streets Cry Freedom".

This is one of my fav albums of all time and Ray Gillen is up there as one of my fav vocalists and Jake is one of my fav guitar players. A great great band and a great album with no fillers IMO.

As Wes stated, It's impossible to pick a fave but the one that always comes

to mind for me is "Rumbling Train"...God I LOVE That song...Ray is of the hook

on that one and Jake is his usual bad ass self!!!

I'm probably the only one here who just doesn't really like this disc at all. I voted for 'Dreams in the dark' because it was about the only song on here that held my interest, but I sold this one a long, long time ago.

Yeah that's a great tune too, I love the bluesy playing that Jake is throwing down on that one.

Another criminally underrated tune is "Seasons", that tune is a monster IMO.

I'm a goin' with Seasons, but seriously this is one of those albums I can listen to beginning to end backwards and forwards, it's just that awesome.

Backed and great tune.

Why thank you sir, I was very close to picking "Streets..." myself, what an awesome disc!

Should of sold millions. For me they were the new Zeppelin without directly ripping them off.

Unlike that other band I won't mention (cough) Kingdom Come (cough).

I still liked Kingdom Come but they without a doubt directly ripped off LZ.

Also Zebra and Fastway had that direct Zeppelin sound early on, where Badlands had the spirit there but didn't sound directly like them. Then again I might be talking out of my ass at this point.

Great album. No bad tunes on it. I went with Dreams In The Dark.

Really the more I think about it there are no wrong answers.

...and Wes, you always talk out your ass, that's what I like about you... ;)

Seriously though, I like KC too, they just totally ripped off Led Zep, and I'm okay with that, in fact I think I picked up the s/t on vinyl back in the day and it got a lot of plays! :banger:

I agree with Pete, KC is a total rip off of Led Zep on the first album. On their following cd's not so much. But I will say the S/T is my fave. :guitbannana:

    • In all fairness, rank-and-file police officers are caught between a rock and a hard place. They have to enforce orders from above, even ones they disagree with, or risk losing their livelihoods. I bear far more ill will towards the policy makers and the ones giving orders than frontline officers. Now, that said: 1. The editing is manipulative IMO. I'd like to see an unedited video from several minutes PRIOR to what is shown and then through the incident, as is. As we all learned (or already knew prior) from the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, video can be twisted and turned to seemingly show what we want it to show, deep fakes notwithstanding. 2. If this incident was as heinous as the host claims, if it happened "last month" it would be everywhere and he wouldn't have waited this long to air it; he would have wanted to be on the cutting edge of interest. Me smells a rat.
    • I like this song, no issue with the GV. What don't you like?
    • Hello, me in 2019. I used to think that way but over the course of the last two years I have lost all respect I ever had for the police. In this instance, I honestly don't know. I'm sure there's two sides to the story, but I'm far less inclined these days to feel any sympathy for the police considering the roles they've played in covid management. Fuck them, I regrettably say these days.
    • How overproduced is his voice?
    • Pushing the kids was pretty harsh, but there is no context. Judging by the way she was speaking, accusing the police of groping her friend, you'd think that she was likely inciting them. Doesn't justify the shove of a kid, but in a karmic world, possibly got what she deserved. I hate these clips, and the Avi is a fucking dick. He dissipates what he does by leaning so far to the right that he's as bad as the lefties. The cops wouldn't be detaining a young girl unless they had a reason. People honestly think that all 10 cops there was all in on being unfair and persecuting the girl? nope.
    • John Cooper of Skillet fame wanted to experiment with a heavier style than his main band allowed for, so the Fight the Fury side project was born. As you can tell from the video, it basically sounds like Skillet crossed with Slipknot. Not for everyone but I kind of dig it.
    • You've presented a whole load of easily debunked statements about atheism. When corrected you've taken your bat and ball home.  You had a chance for a conversation but for some reason unable to have that conversation. The you just resort to insults.   I turn my other cheek.
    • The arrogance and hypocrisy in this statement is what is staggering. Maybe we could turn this into a big collective circle jerk for all the poor misunderstood atheists. I will leave you to it. Enjoy.
    • I know this thread is Mr.AOR's, so I won't impose, but I do need to post this one. I've posted it before, but I do think this track truly encampasses the true meaning of our modern day Christmas.
    • Nice SCTV reference.   Rick Moranis is an absolute legend and good guy by all accounts.
