  1. So like a few previous posts, these videos aren't "tributes to Eddie" in retrospect to his passing, but worthy views and listens as the performances blew/blow me away. These guys are ridiculously talented and as you binge on all of their covers and content you to will become enamored. Sorry for the tangent but and yes I would prefer to provide Shawna with option 2 presented on her t-shirt. This 2nd video is a little older, equally as creative and shows again the level of talent these kids have and Gina is a monster on the 6 string...
  2. That is terrible to hear as this band was a favorite. It was crushing when the guitarist John Spinks passed 6 years ago and now Tony. That's 2 of the 3. RIP Tony, time to spin the debut in its entirety.
  3. Is it just Kip and hired guns or does this include Reb and others?
  4. Too funny. I miss the ambiguous porn fueled threads starring Geoff and the rest of the HH characters. Well played.
  5. So as I am pandemic'ing and finding sources of entertainment, I have been using and abusing free streaming apps and TUBI is amazing if you haven't bothered, do so. A few very short adverts in the movies, but they are painless and the TUBI library is pretty immersive and the best part 100% free. That said I discovered this little gem of a rockumentary on "the best band you've never heard of" Cock'd Gunns. The music is pretty dang good and the acting and writing is clever as well. At only 13 episodes, 27 minutes each, its a binge that is easily done and disappointing when its done. Wish they had another season or 2. Here is the title crawl song, followed by the full song: And an extended trailer that paint the picture: And a few more of the songs:

  7. I know I posted earlier Armored Saints Can U Deliver, which is epic but here are a few more that crush. Saxon-The Eagle Has Landed Metal Church-The God's Of Wrath Accept-Balls to the Wall, Fast As A Shark & Princess of the Dawn
  8. Doug, I don't know who you are or where you came from, but this is the song that sprang to mind for me as well. That said there are a couple grips of DLR era VH songs that are quintessential, imho. As for the Van Hagar era, not nearly as many, actually, very few, but one comes to mind and that is Finish What You Started. As already mentioned we lost an irreplaceable icon, that definitely impacted our lives greatly. RIP maestro.
  9. I did not watch the whole video, but Michelle Obama, yea i'd hit that.

    NFL 2020

I'm watching it all as well. Forget the naysayers. Covid is making it ruff. Cam sick, most of the Titans as well, plus who knows who else. I must say I don't mind fanless football, hearing the players talk smack and call audibles and the hits are so much more enjoyable. One thing hasn't changed and that is shit officiating. This is my new favorite from this week. Obviously Mahomes isn't down and call it a fumble or an interception, regardless the officials called him down and Andy Reed punted very quickly to avoid reveiw:
  11. She does alright. She can't break glasses like Miljenko Matijevic but... I watched this clip here and not in the tubes, but I am oh so curious to the first 12k comments: "Oh my god what an amazing original song, your so talented". and 11,889 versions therein. "Gross. Why would you sing butt rock songs." The other 110 comments.
  12. This movie was a big surprise and the 2 in the series are pretty good.
  13. This is definitely one of the best movies ever made.
  14. Cody that is just shitty. Be safe buddy. I wish I could offer you something to cool the engines but I get it.
  15. This should be on billboards, t-shirts, bumper stickers... "Learn how to disagree, WITHOUT disrespect."
  16. Yea I wish they could have recorded another as I liked this one front to back. The vocals are killer and the tunes are so damn infectious.
  17. They certainly became more appealing to the masses under the Hagar regime but apart they were much better, Standing Hampton anyone? And yes I do prefer Dave over Sam in VH, the songs were more appealing to me, kind of like the Phil Collinless Leppard. As I prefer the Willis era. To each their own.
  18. Burdens of being bi-polar... Or maybe just a little lit. Cool band nonetheless.
  19. Yes they were quite good. I personally loved them. Incredibly tight, energetic, played the dickens out of their respective instruments and had what looked like a hell of a time doing so. Hell the set still resonates 25 years later and as I mentioned earlier the Natural Woman inclusion was so random but so cool. I totally dig/dug Kevin's voice, very unique and teh rest of the band was so tight as well, smh. As I ruminate they more and more remind me of another band no one likes and should have been bigger is TPOH (The Pursuit of Happiness). Maybe a little Ruth Ruth too. Another in the ilk of uber talented bands that no one cared about and should have and talk about distinct voices, Chris Kennedy, forget about it and these guys too were a 3 piece, hmmm. Here is an old Letterman clip from around that time:
  20. I do love these videos and this guy is farking funny. I'd watch and rewatch as he is "razor" sharp 4 sure.
  21. Oh dear. Who the fuck is this non football playing JJ Watt and who told him he should sing? This would have been far superior if Kory Clark would have just sung the whole damn thing or maybe an instrumental album. At least that other shit band Russ posted with the busty grandma, had a busty grandma in it even though that was the ONLY thing going for it.
  22. This was a good song, some great guitar work and many nice vocals. Also a few broads worthy of a repeat look. I HATE when the makers of these types of videos are so blatantly lazy that they can't be bothered to put the artists name and band up when they show them on screen. WTF? If I was singer number 2 I's want somone who had no idea of the Frontiers artists to have easy acces to me and my works. Whatever. Here are the players, I will never go back and try and pair it up though. 23. Some already mentioned, Glorydaze, Spirit of Metal (use to contribute a lot here, but it went south a few years ago, there are occasional pushes to get it started again, but its not the same, Encyclopedia Metallum (wankers). I still contribute to Sleaszeroxx, not as much as I would like to, so go read my reviews only, LOL. I miss the forum, Olivier didn't like that aspect much and when Skid bowed out he killed it. I am sure it would be supremely shit (ty) now anyway. Not a fan in the least of all the regurgitated retro reviews of Bark at the Moon and the like. Those albums have had their 2.4 million minutes in the sun, I am more into new bands that need the help not the old ones that are done and re-reviewing the long dead album has no point, other than clickbait. Freeones. Any better places for fap worthy images are greatly appreciated...
