  1. Nice. It'll be good to hear these songs with a worthwhile production job. I remember those MP3s I had were awesome songs, but poor sound quality. Good stuff. Just wish they'd made the effort with 2 more tracks to make it a 10 track release.
  2. Fuckin' nice. 35C is hot by anyone's standards; even us. Sounds like the max temperatures aren't that far off to here these fucking days. As you say, Glen, must have been some old messed up and clueless commentator. BTW, 24C too hot for you? You poor bastard. 25C is about perfect, imo.
  3. Haha. Yeah, I looked at what she's done and there's nothing I'd see her in. It looks like the biggest thing she's done is these 'Transformer' movies which I have no time for... until yesterday. I will now try to see them asap. Good luck with the extra babies, mate. Luckily my potential children ended up tangled in her hair.
  4. Yeah great album...pretty much resides permanently in my disc changer in the car. Not that far behind 'Take It To The Limit' IMO. You're both mental. "Extreme Behaviour" was dogshit. (I say was, because my copy has long since been binned). I've heard at least half-a-dozen Modern Rock discs this year so far that beat the shit out of it. sorry but i really like the album....esp the first half which is filler free and pretty damned wicked. Haha... I'm an idiot. It was actually 'Take it to the limit' I was listening to yesterday and that's the album I meant to say kills anything from this year... but yeah, I agree with Glen. 'Extreme Behaviour' is excellent too and not far off it by any means. Two killer discs. Anyway, spinning: Raw Silk - 'Silk under the skin' ; love this disc! Swedish Erotica - 'Blindman's Justice' ; and this one!
  5. Awesome news, and great to hear. I haven't heard much about these guys at all lately, but it's been sitting there in the back of my mind that they're due for a new one. Can't wait to hear this. If I read Chris' words correctly, I agree that 'Domino Effect' was their best yet and I'll be keen to see if they can top that one. Love these guys.
  6. Wow, I cannot believe this. I would have possibly bet my ballsack that there was not a chance we'd ever hear from these guys again. Good luck to them, but have to agree with Jez and Rob here. Very poor band at the best of times and I certainly see no need for them to try again when they failed so miserably the first time round.
  7. Okay, I voted because I want to see the other votes. Here is how I rank the album from fave to least fave: 1. Fat Girl (Thar She Blows) 2. Community Property 3. Stripper Girl 4. Hells on Fire 5. Asian Hooker 6. Death to All But Metal 7. Girl from Oklahoma 8. Eyes of a Panther 9. Turn Out the Lights 10. Eatin' Ain't Cheatin' 11. Party All Day (Fuck All Night) 12. The Shocker
  8. Okay, so there's been a lot of nonsense talk about this disc, but not much just about what's on offer. Of the songs on this disc, which is your favourite and which is your least favourite? Interested in this poll to see if 'Eyes of a panther' rates high amongst people keen to see them sound like everyone else ( ) as I guess that's the most obviously "normal" song, and a kick-ass track at that. I actually haven't voted because it's hard being familiar with some of the songs already. Granted, I only had the Metal Shop songs a month before this disc, but I played it to death and was therefore already well familiar with 'Fat Girl', 'Stripper Girl', 'Hells on Fire' and also 'Death to all but metal' from the Metal Sludge compilation (thanks to Jay and Howdy for the great hook-ups) which are arguably the best songs off this disc. But I don't know how to compare them with new faves 'Community Property' and 'Asian Hooker'. So for now I'll wait. Anyway, least favourite song off the album for me is 'The Shocker'. I like everything on this CD but if I had to pick a least fave that'd be it. So what's yours?

and "Karma Cleansing" There's a track variance on the two, isn't there? If I recall correctly 'Believe' delivers harder. If i recall correctly your mum delivers harder. Delivers harder and tougher sons than most others? Yeah, I guess you're right. All three of us could beat you in a fight blindfolded and decapitated and amputated. Fight me.
  11. Nick is a good builder. I remember when he built that bridge to my heart.
  12. Damn. Oh well, I still love it. Just read the comments on the main part of the site and it looks like I'm the only one who really digs this one. I still maintain it was easily the best CD or 2004 (or did Blind Date sneak in that year?) and it's an all-time fave of mine. Just so many stunning songs. Oh well, to each their own I guess. Here's my list in order: 1. Shadows Fade - s/t 2. The Storm - s/t 3. The Storm - 'Eye of the storm' 4. The VU - 'Phoenix Rising' 5. Two Fires - Ignition 6. Two Fires - s/t 7/8. Kevin Chalfant - his 2 solo discs And I haven't heard the rest.

Not bad mate. Sounds like a mix of, as you say Work of Art and someone like Eclipse. Sounds pretty good, but tone it down a litte, mate. Not sure why you're that excited! To be honest, 'Story of my life' wouldn't make it onto my Ipod let alone list of best songs of 2009 and I have a bad feeling this CD would just be another release amongst the pack this year. but I'll give 'em a go when it's released. Nice find mate.
  14. Looks more like something from early Lee Aaron. Yeah, I was even thinking Doro or something. Just definitely NOT Fiona.
  15. HAHA!!! That is f*cking awesome. I didn't know who this girl was but I flicked over to 'Two and a half men' last night and I saw one of the most stunning females I have ever seen in my life. A bit of research and I find out it's Megan Fox, who I believe is the girl from these 'Transformers':
  16. Yeah, been wondering what's happening, Ian. Keep us abreast, mate. As the guys say above, hope it's a good thing.
  17. Fuck, it's cold. May have to have a fucking beer!! Nah, seriously it's not too bad. I had to laugh last night though. I was watching a bit of Wimbeldon and they were saying it's a really hot day today, it's 75 degrees Fahrenheit. So I whip out my phone to convert to proper temperature (which I thought you guys had over there - you measure temperature in celsius, don't you? Please, for the love of jeebers christ tell me you do) and it turns out it was just under 24 degrees Celsius (23.88C). lol. You poor bastards. That's not far off the average midday temperature here all through our winter.
  18. I think Rick might be right... the site scored a mention in Rolling Stone?
  19. 2000 version? If so is it the best CD you've ever heard? or 1996 version? If so, not good at all, is it?
  20. Hinder - 'Extreme Behaviour' ; no wonder this year seems so weak compared to this one. Quietdrive - 'Deliverance'
  21. Nice work mate. Keep the party alive!
  22. Religion is okay, people suck. Sorry mate, I think religion is a horrible thing, without exception. But yeah, both religious and non-religious people do suck. drugs suck Yeah but they're easily avoided. Sadly people are everywhere.
