  1. For me they should have called it quits after Spellbound.
  2. Agreed, watching this is like taking a dip in the hot tub time machine. Awesome clip and song. The song itself is listed as a bonus track on the new CD..... go figure, must be a typo? I have to pull out the Bring The Thunder CD again - it didn't take holdafter a few spins and got shelved. Will give it another go.
  3. I don't believe Pay-Pal considers Registered Mail proof that I actually sent the CD to him. Does anyone here know for sure? In which case I am worried that he may get the CD and keep it... then claim it never arrived. Then I'm out a $15.00 CD that I could possibly sell to someone else. The no feedback really bothers me. If he had a good track record I would have no problem taking a chance on it. Yeah they do, you need to keep your copy of the registered mail and the receipt... go figure. I had to scan it and send it to them before they gave me my money back. Long story but I got the email and the funds from selling something so I printed it and sent it the next day. Then when I checked they had reversed the payment so here I was having sent the item, no money and the guy giving me positive feedback for it. Turned out that his payment bounced and they weren't going to pay me until they got their money. Fkn assholes send the notification to me and it was in my account for a week and then they took it out. 6009 phones calls later, scans of stuff etc. they gave me the cash. I am pretty sure because this took 2 weeks, and the buyer was a nice guy and trying to sort it out on his end i.e. his account was suspended etc. that he probably put more money in so Paypal was never out of pocket. My advice is trust no one and who knows what paypal will do!
  4. If you don't mind me asking where did you get Fear Not- S/T (1993) from? Cheers
  5. Hi guys, I have been looking for this CD for a little while but with no luck. Ultimately would love to get the Japanese pressing but at this stage me and a mate would settle for 2 copies of any original pressing on Replica or Armageddon. Here the info on the CD: http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=108604 Video clip of the single here: Any help would be greatly appreciated whether it's purchasing, trading or just pointing me in the right direction. Cheers, John
  6. Hi Sam, thanks for the info... there's definitely a few to check out. I loved Crystal Pistol's debut CD, every 2nd song is an absolute killer. What are you going to be releasing from them?
  7. I think the sooner poor old Sly stops making movies the better... but he has given us lots of great memories. What's the name of that guy, I think he was in Tango & Cash with the massive jaw? Here is Australia we have these ice cream ads for Maxibon.... and you need 'jawceps' (a huge fkn jaw) to eat them. Totally off the topic and random but this is how my mind joins things together. Why did we never get a Ferris Bueller sequel?
  8. March is here.... and this is still not available. Hopefully soon coz I'm pretty interested. The tracklist is: 1. red hot rocket 2. when will i know 3. danger 4. wrap 2 arms 5. wildest way 6. she shines 7. love rebel 8. in the movies 9. need your lovin 10. cant we just sleep together 11. hey little girl 12. give it up 13. overnight sensation 14. sex crazy 15. hot dog 16. take me or leave me 17. love struck burning heart 18. open your eyes 19. i want you 20. fantasies 21. shine on 22. crazy bout you* 23. where no one dares* 24. take me or leave me* 25. do you wanna touch (live) 26. i like it both ways (live) 27. im a lover im a slut (live)
  9. Wowser. What are these two like? Holy shit that was quick! Enjoy them. The Bonfire CD would probably be my favourite live album that I've heard. sorry a bit OOT and kinda dumb question, but how do you reply a multi-quote like this geoff ? i've seen a button of Multi Quote but don't know how to use it Haha, no special technique here... just old school. I hit reply to the first message, copy the entire body of the message. Then go back, and reply to the next message and paste the first one. Then reply to both. Wowser. What are these two like? "Holidays in the Sun" is a Sex Pistols cover that was originally released on the Make A Difference Foundation/Stairway to Heaven Highway to Hell Release tht had Ozzy, Scorpions, Cinderella, Bon Jovi, Motley and Gorky Park all doing covers. It's a solid tune but I wouldn't call it great or anything at least not as good as the covers on BSide Ourselves. "Beggars Day" was the replacement song on Slave to the Grind for the stores that wouldn't carry the release because of "Get the Fuck Out", like Walmart. And IMO it's a pretty damn good song. I would love to hear 'Beggars Day'... not so much the cover song. But thanks in advance to whoever will be kind enough to upload 'Beggars Day.' Beggar's Day kicks ass and is just as strong as the other material on the CD. One of the best albums of all time. Unfortunately this vid on youtube let's you hear the music and the heaviness but you can't hear Seb: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqdGVV8ONrk Send me a PM with your email and I'll see if I can send it to you. Will be putting up my original Jap verion of Slave to the Grind for trade early next month which has this on it (this was the original Jap bonus track coz they had no issue with Get the Fuck Out being on the CD). If interested maybe send through an updated trade list? It also comes with an extra picture booklet, obi etc.
  10. The Steel Panther touring Oz rumour is just that. They poked fun recently at that Collingwood player who apologised for doing, in their words 'the Monster'. They joked that they wanted his phone number for when they came down or something.
  11. Skid Row - Slave to the Grind Jap miniLP SHM that has a few bonus tracks: Beggar's Day Holidays In The Sun Get The Fuck Out (Live) Delivering the Goods (Live) One of my favourite CDs so I had to splurge. Been loving it for 20 years. Bach reads out the letter from the Council that controls Wembley stadium stating they are not allowed to use profanity and that the song Get The Fuck Out should not be played unless the lyrics are changed. LOL, of course they kick into an awesome version of the song!
  12. By all accounts grab the Deluxe edition as well. I've also read that there's going to be a Japanese deluxe edition coming sometime soon as well, not sure if it has any bonus tracks. Listen to Geoff and grab Take it to the Limit NOW. The Jap version of that has some extra goodies.
  13. A new vocalist could be the thing that brings me back. Every CD sounds the same, you only need one of them.... at least this first one with Stu will sound different
  14. LOL... indeed it is! "You know what SOBER stands for? It stands for Son Of a Bitch, Everything's Real!" Gary Busey Busey was great in Entourage, Season 1 finale I think. They need to bring him back!
  15. Nice one, I think I'll pick this up as well. That song 'Live Fast ('N Die Young)' sounds cool. Yeah that Malicious CD sonds awesome. I used to buy at CDBaby back in 2005/2006 eg. the Big Cock CDs but shipping worldwide was free then. What is it these days?
  16. Agreed, but we are music fans and love our bands. The average person, like all the kids who made Bon Jovi ultra rich in the 80s are most likely not buying music anymore, or very rarely. On top of that the kids today are buying singles, not albums or artists and have grown up with everything being a click away. Unforunately music is becoming a disposable market where talent is churned through and artists (except for a select few) aren't given time to mature or grow. I don't know if Jobs is too blame, he actually gives artists an avenue to get an income that they probably wouldn't otherwise have, given the widespread pirating of music and MP3. He just took advantage of the situation and made it easier for people to get. Times are a chnging and we're not getting any younger
  17. I totally agree, I've been trying to get those Stormwitch reissues and it seems that every seller seems to be selling those bootlegs... including one of the sellers you listed above: Seller states "Mint condition. We don't sell CD-Rs or promos. Only official releases." ...coz he has the Biker Mice from Mars soundtrack and it has exactly the same description as that on Azintex.
  18. Hey Geoff, where did you get this from? Hinder ~ All American Nightmare (Deluxe Edition) Was it cheaper than $18 Aus delivered? Am about to pick this one up.
  19. Steve Vai whistling, hmmm, widdling at the beginning of Yankee Rose? Wasn't there whistling on some of the Use Your Illusion songs? Haven't played those for a while!!!
  20. I don't get the Racer X vibe on this, maybe coz I never dug them. Anyway, great CD that really rocks. The singer sounds great in the higher register and the Japanese sure know how to play some sweet guitar. There's probably no need to buy the bootleg of this. I bought it not long ago on ebay - around $30 delivered.... new. You just need to find a Jap retailer who is stocking it coz it was reissued in 2005 by a Japanese label called DANGER CRUE RECORDS (awesome name). Info here, perhaps if you can ready Japanese you can order it directly? http://www.dangercrue.com/works/hurryscuary/index.html
  21. Sorry, I must apologise for the delay (aswell as getting out discs to Adriano and Mikael) The whole buying and selling house saga really stole all of my time. Hopefully everyone has got their cds now, or if not, any day now. So , Nasty Nuns... Had a listen yet? What did you think. No need for apologies at all. As I said, I totally forgot about it. Plus I have about 200 others to kee me occupied in the mean time. Nah, no chance yet mate, but will listen soon. Sitting here in the office after my long weekend: Amsterdam - B.U.R.S.T. Faithfull - Horizons LAROXX - Laroxx SEQUEL - Back STAR RATS - Broken Halo STARRATS - Screw the Consequences Steevi Jaimz - My Private Hell Tango Down - Damage Control Trixie - Shelter ZAN CLAN - We Are Zan Clan, Who The F**k Are You I love that Zan Clan CD, awesome. I grabbed the following the last couple of days: Bride - First 3 reissues. Hurry Scuary JPN Kings of the Sun - S/T White Siddow
  22. Can't go past Street Ready for me, especially the Jap pressing with Alone In The Night. I think that pops up on the Leatherwolf 1987 reissue.
  23. I happened to hear Patience and Wind of Change back to back on the radio and it got me thinking.... what other notable songs out there feature whistling?
  24. error, this is on Retroactive, NOT Retrospect
