Each to their own I say. Sure I think it's stoopid that Geoff doesn't get the stuff from 84 and older, and that he doesn't like non-english vox and so on but in the end we're all different. I for one enjoy his little early 80s lists, a nice quick read coz I sure as shit ain't gonna be reading the modern rock ones!

The last one sucked. I do like Danny's solo stuff and he's honed that sound so well that when he tries to do Tyketto it comes across as a bad mashup. Doesn't work for me. Shame as Don't Come Easy is a classic.

Yeah love the track and will check this one out. Unfortunately Kai's vocals are sounding like they're on a downward slide.

Lots of memories that I've now started sharing with the kids i.e. movies. RIP

Got through Stranger Things. Very enjoyable, loved the kids, music and 80s setting. Batman v Superman. Oh dear, what a turd of a movie!

More threads the better. Sure I've read less lately than I normally do but that's due to my time. If I have time I check everything out otherwise I skim. The more threads there are the better the chance that someone will post something worth talking about and therefore more board activity. I actually just think it's a bit of a quiet period for the scene at the moment....and there's no drama or arguments. Might be time to post some more best of lists Geoff where's your lists? Gotten through everything yet? I love checking out bands I missed, quickly dismissed or need to be reminded of again.

That is the cover I'm afraid I'm really looking forward to this one though, the debut album was great, and they have Kane Roberts and the singer from the poodles guesting on a song on this new one That's OK. Kinda like the ugliest chick you've ever been with but great in the sack!

Have only listened to this a couple of times but I'm glad Jorn has finally hooked up with a good guitarist. Am liking some of this, especially the non-rock covers. The biggest letdown is that 2/3 through its obvious the songs were recorded at another time and don't sound as good. I have hope for Jorn with Trendt but this is not essential by any means but hopefully the build up to something much better.

Oh look, Maverick have another album coming - awesome. Let's hope that's not the cover as its just as bad as the last one.

I've avoided this one as the samples didn't do much for me mainly as I'm not into this style unless it's completely over the top. However, I must have put the right song on at the right time and now a week of non-stop listening has catapulted this into one of the best releases of the year. Everytime I put it on its like opening the windows on a beautiful spring morning. A wonderful breathe of fresh air. Love it!

OMG WTF. This is everything wrong with popular music at moment. Makes me want to shit on my hands and clap until it ends!
