  1. How did this thread get hijacked by shooters? This is SF ffs;) Talk about mascot games jumping on baddies is ok but what's important is my new fight stick arrives tomorrow which means no CDs for me for a couple of weeks and I'll be ready to spinning pile drive u all. How good was the rock n roll racing soundtrack on the SNES back in the day?
  2. Wtf? Who is Paul Lancia? Is this the singer from the band Lancia? If so, the CD is OK...sure Davy on the other hand is far from being the best singer in the world but his songs, his band, his vocal style offer something pretty original and great amongst all the me too releases, in the day and now. Vain is so sugary sweet you need to see a dentist after listening..but you always go back for more. Shame you don't get it as IMO you're really missing out. No Respect is one of the best releases in our genre and truth be told he's never released a bad Vain album, just mediocre solo albums. Davy also deserves credit. After all this time he hasn't turned his back on the scene or his fans. Enough Rope was proof of that after a long hiatus and the new one is also following a similar path. Rock on!
  3. First Signal... Lol. Come on I don't think it was even in my top 10 that year
  4. I'm excited by this. Loved the first one 20 yrs ago. He has a big voice for the acoustic stufd. I don't tend to like the southern flavoured stuff but he's a pretty darn awesome lyricist which took the first shadows CD to places I never expected.
  5. Love that Sygnet album. How'd u rate it? Haha, pretty average, basically. 68%, and I almost feel like I was being more generous than I needed to be. Very boring metal for the most part. From Bormann during that era, and even the dude from Sinner... I believe they could have and should have pulled off something a little more exciting than that. Just forgettable. Da-dorrrr......wrong my friend. You should have phoned a friend!
  6. Well this is very disappointing! A big fkn ha-do-ken to u all
  7. Anyone on PC or PS4 playing this?
  8. Oh, it is very by-the-numbers. But 99% of New Cuntry is. So, it's fairly harmless. That's fair enough. So what's this mean? Tyler trying to cash in on country?
  9. I'm as keen as the next guy to have these classic bands reform eg. Van Halen, Guns, Skid Row, Ratt etc. However, I'm not interested in seeing them live usually due to the singers of the bands I like not having the range anymore. Then there's how do a bunch of around 50 something's deliver songs about getting laid on the weekend.... My advice, especially for a band like Gunners is to record and not tour. Axl will be able to deliver something with enough takes, green tea, cocaine...whatever. The gigs on the other hand will be horrific. Sure they'll make some $$ but the call will go out ... as JSS once sang...'retire or die'!
  10. It's just so by the numbers, boring and uninspired.
  11. Agreed, neither of those bands have anything as killer as the debut Dream Evil album!
  12. Spectre....what a pile of steaming shit. No wonder Daniel Craig doesn't want to do another! Did anyone actually like this?
  13. I loved The Vanishing, maybe you'd prefer the US remake? Prolly not given u know what happens. The Orphanage is a great flick.
  14. Talent has something to do with it but Metalium has heaps more better songs. That said both bands are well and truly past their best.
  15. It would look like a strange choice on paper given the band he's been in.... but this guy has a set of pipes. I only heard a snippet of 18 & Life and Piece of Me and he seems to do Bach quite effortlessly even with the crappy video capture. I'm excited as I think he's a good fit. Shame the band can't write or record anything anymore tho!
  16. The movie is OK, nothing more tho. Check out Final Girls for that great 80s feel and style!
  17. Welcome to another Melbournian! Have fun.
  18. They need Bob Rock and do a follow up to Sonic Temple.... Awesome album, nothing else by them is worth owning imo.
  19. Why? Investment! Just a tip, mate. No one buys physical versions of music anymore. I do and I love it. Hey, you wouldn't have got that Harlot track if I didn't buy CDs
  20. Wow, glad I bought the Jap versions of Bleed and Armageddonize for those bonus acoustic tracks. Oh, and I forked out ages ago for that Sweden Rock Magazine CD single to get those 2 additional Bleed & Scream tracks. Bitter? Noooooooooooo...
  21. Keep going like that and you'll starting making people believe you actually like good music!! Stage Dolls - Soldier's Gun Stage Dolls - Stage Dolls Stage Dolls - Stripped Stage Dolls - Dig Stage Dolls - Get A Life Stage Dolls - Always Paul Stanley - Live To Win Star Collector - Rock Of Ages Stargazer - Back On The Street LOL, that's what I was going to say to Karpet! Live To Win never had any right to be as good as it is. How'd you rate it?
