  1. I prefer this to the countless girl and boy bands we've had the past few decades. Good luck to them.
  2. What? What's this all about? I've let albums sink in for about 20 years of my life before finally undertaking the massive task of organising and rating them. I think 20 years is a pretty decent amount of time to allow albums to sink it. Oh, are you a Van Halen fan? Did I offend you with that comment? I aim to please. Anyway, I'm sorry you're a fan of the band. I hope you wake up to yourself one day. I think he might be suggesting you listen to about 250 new albums a year - 90% of em twice Lol, what Glen said. You said in another post that u lost ur 2016 ratings which I'm guessing you only listened to once or a couple of times....? Better releases obviously more than the crap ones. Personally for me it takes years and tens of listens for something to sink in. Some of my favorite releases are ones I didn't like it get until a few listens or even more than a year in. For the record VH have 2 excellent releases - S/T and 5150 and 2 very good ones - 1984 and OU812. The rest is garbage IMO. I wouldn't call myself a big fan, far from it!
  3. Come on Geoff! Rather than listening to 2,390,666 albums a week listen to a few more than once and let them sink in a little
  4. You have to grab 5150. It's easily the best of the Van Hagar and nowhere near as slick as the later stuff! Hellooooo Babeeeee!
  5. Yes it is. Was listening to all 3 tracks this morning and found myself sitting in a pool of cum. Yours or someone else's? Nevermind....
  6. Could HH send him a msg on behalf of all the members to end this and point him in the right direction?
  7. I guess they're all mates as this looks suspiciously like the Zan Clan CD and live CD line up. I'm interested in hearing Marcello trying to deliver that albums guitar parts live!
  8. Info here but just 1 gig listed so far: http://www.ticketmaster.com.au/promo/i8jsvf?j=996150&l=20473_HTML&u=39144481&mid=1341602&jb=186&et_mid=996150&et_rid=751314893
  9. God but the subject matter is just drivel....more long lonely nights and empty beds. Zzzzz Yeah, I hate it. It's absolutely... uh... uh, oh... yeah, it's what most good AOR / melodic rock songs are about. Yeah, I... hate it. I personally genuinely wish that Terri could just understand. For fuck's sake, Terri. Song of today would have to be this monster: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=misexFBQ6fk Definitely their best track. Love Making' Magic whenever I get the chance!Changes is their best track No, no no no no. Not even close, man. Their best songs are; 1. Song & Emotion 2. Freedom Slaves 3. Modern Day Cowboy 4. Had Enough 5. Lady Luck 6. Did It for the Money 7. Love Song 8. Rubberband 9. Flight to Nowhere 10. Need Your Lovin All great trax but Song and Emotion and Did it for the money would be after these: Gettin Better, Yesterday's Gone, Making' Magic, Paradise, Edison's Medicine, Had Enough, Cry, Earthmover

  11. Whatnow?! What's this? Different songs to the ones on the 'What's your name' album? Good production? Have you sent it to me yet? Immediately. Good day today; Tesla - Mechanical Resonance Tesla - The Great Radio Controversy Tesla - Psychotic Supper Tesla - Bust A Nut Tesla - Into The Now How did the Tesla's rate? Awesome band!
  12. Oh Carpet! Kids these days! Agreed, it probably is the greatest rock song in history. Only letdown by one thing....how much radio, mass media play etc. it gets.
  13. In what way is metal even remotely relevant in 2016?
  14. I don't mind that track. What's the album like?
  15. Pfffft, there's only 1 reckless love and I want it to sound like reckless love with the typical lyrics they've always delivered. Watched a heap of the new songs done live via YouTube. I dig it and can't wait!
  16. Funny but sometimes I wish vhs still existed so I could get to the movie. BluRay is painfully slow to actually get to the movies and its as annoying as fuck! When it comes to movies I'm all for digital format which is my opposite take on music...even tho I buy everything I like.
  17. Oh, boy. How was this? I wanna see it, but I don't know anyone to go with. My nephew's too young for movies. I'd go with u but I'm in Oz and it aint out here yet, I think!
  18. Agreed, awful discog. My best of from them is an EP. I thought it was just me!
  19. I hate Spotify but completely understand why it exists and is so popular. My concern is the artists always get shafted with everyone else making the largest chunk of coin. Back in the day they could get something when it came to the next album or contract negotiations if they had a hit, had the right sound etc. This is now gone. I'm also disgusted that Spotify, iTunes etc. Get such a massive % of the returns for supplying the system/technology. At least the labels used to have to pay for recording, manufacturing, distribution, marketing etc. It is what it is and it will not change but it doesn't mean it's fair. We just need to hope that the cost of recording and technology keeps going down and the artists maintain the passion and fire.
  20. Agreed, his melodies were never as sweet as Davy's!
  21. I like me some VH and some DLR but haven't bothered listening to this. My question is why is he doing this? Every interview you read or see with him he talks about his love of dance/pop or whatever the fark it's called these days. Why wouldn't he cut a dance track?
