  1. Damn I really want to know what this song is now. Might have to be a cold case for now.
  2. Diamond Eye - Sound of the Guns http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/diamondeye http://www.heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=6030&CDName=Sound+of+the+Guns This one's on the main site. Checking out samples now but some good reviews to be found. Aussie (WA) band.
  3. Kristian did I ever send you the mp3's? I can't remember.
  4. Some ya'll talking bout US band, others AUS band.
  5. Are you sure it was "through the heart" and not "to the heart" ? I immediately thought of this great song from the debut China album: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Otkry40bgmc
  6. ? so true! It's an awkward album cover that's for sure.
  7. Vinyl and cassette only. You can find a little write up + restored vinyl d/l here at the best blog ever: http://hardrockaorheaven.blogspot.com.au/2012/05/brent-lamb-one-man-1986.html?m=1
  8. Terrible band name. Didn't bother with the last one but mught give this a listen based on some of what I read.

    Poor Grammar

    Leykis did you write this?
  10. Not the band I thought of. These guys are a bit bluesy from memory.
  11. Cool list Kristian. Hugely different to mine but I can appreciate different tastes. One that caught my eye though was Greenhouze s/t. I do remember it vaguely. It was on MTM around 10 years ago right? Is it worth re-exploring? Any track recommendations?
  12. I'm gonna puck this one up based on the cover alone...looks like something I'd enjoy! ? Dan I couldn't agree with you more about the chainsaw integration...it really is a little disjointed.
  13. I do love browsing the vinyl section at record stores - always exciting to see what cam be found. I love the big album covers and the sound but they are just so inconvenient and expensive. Still pick up the odd rarity and I like 7" singles with picture sleeves as well, but if it's on CD that's what I prefer.
  14. Nice! It's always cool when you find nostalgic things like this. I probably wouldn't risk sending my cash to them in the hope of getting a baseball jersey though ?
  15. Ha nice! I was actually listening to BLG this afternoon...how strange! Excellent band ☺
  16. Refreshing stuff. I love it. Definitely not what I was expecting when I saw the band name. Really looking forward to hearing more.
  17. Yeah this one isn't bad. No major highlights for me but a good solid british AOR disc and not too different from the Passion Street album that Maarten mentioned. I'd probably rate Passion Street over this one though. Strangely this album was reissued a few years back by Yesterock...just seemed like a strange choice for a reissue.
  18. None of them better than "Fractured Love", in my opinion. My favorite Leppard song. Mine too! Pure brilliance. I really like Desert Song as well.
  19. haha, no problems there. From your list Harem Scarem and Skid Row would be the two that would be in my top 20 probably. In fact Harem Scarem was really hard to leave out of my 10. The rest of it was too AOR for me. Having said that, the Joey Tempest and Butch Walker albums on my list are very AOR, so go figure. Andy Taylor and Hot Action Cop are probably albums which most here wouldn't have heard. At the time Andy Taylor's Thunder came out it was very cool for me. Don't even know how I ended up with it, but it was great hard rock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blDUrOGXES4 He followed up with a covers album where most of the songs were better than the originals for me, which is hard to do. Especially Live Wire... (most will probably disagree, bit I'm not a big fan of AC/DC stuff after Bon) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ene3t4oOxow Nice, I'd heard of Andy Taylor but hadn't actually heard any songs. Will check that one out further. Re Hot Action Cop, I've never heard of it but certainly intrigued now. Gonna check out Youtube. Loud & Clear I have to agree is awesome.
