From Metal Underground:

"Danish hard rock/traditional metal band Pretty Maids announced that the band will release the album "Louder Than Ever," which will be a mix of new material, as well as newly re-recorded hits from the band's 30 year back catalog and a special DVD. The release is targeted to drop in the Spring of 2014 via Frontiers Records."

Hmmm...I don't know. Could be a good one...or not.

Definitely looking forward to their new material. All their best material is already fine as it is. Though to be honest, I guess new versions of stuff from 'Jump The Gun' would be interesting. Not better - impossible. But it'd actually be cool to hear it, as that was kind of a different sound and style to everything from 'Sin Decade' on.

Don't have any Pretty Maids stuff from 1995 to 2006, so I'll be getting this one. There last two releases were both excellent, so I feel comfortable getting this one.

Yeah I saw the track listing above but they went back to 1995 for one song? And it was arguably the worst song on the album? All of the old stuff is untouchable but just as Stryper did, if you are going to do it then do it right. I'm not even mildly interested in this :( Save the new tracks for a new album. It's not like they are Def Leppard putting out a cd every 4 years.

Love the band, but this looks so pointless to me. All the songs on this disc were already originally recorded with their current style anyway. Can't wait for the new songs, but I can't imagine the older songs will really sound much different. Pretty average track selection too, aside from the brilliant 'With these eyes.'

I heard one minute samples from all the tracks over at Melodic Rock.

It sounds like a million bucks. Not as vocally harsh compared to Motherland, Ronnie Atkins sounds terrific, the best I've ever heard him sing.

Can't wait for the 21st for this one and the L.R.S....saddly these will be the first cd's I've purchased in 2014. I know this year will be awesome, but another slow starter just like the last few years.
