“LIVE & BANGIN’” will not be available in stores, but instead sold solely in the GOTTHARD fan shop and at merchandise stalls on the upcoming festival tour, strictly limited. There’s not a second wasted on “LIVE & BANGIN’”: Almost like on an official bootleg, there are close to 75 minutes of the Tessin platinum rockers’ sound – unaltered, live and pure. With the premium Digipack and a 16-page booklet packed with first hand live images “LIVE & BANGIN’” really feels like a “Bang!” tour flashback. You could actually call its track list a set list, because the songs on “LIVE & BANGIN’” are a perfect cross section of the tour-show including a lifelike instant mosh pit in your living room.

I own every one of their releases, even their EPs all in Japanese release but I think Bang is the last album I'll be buying. Sorry guys, new guy is OK but Steve must have added a heap to the songwriting as well as his stellar vocals.

That said this is a pretty weak set list as well.

That said this is a pretty weak set list as well.

 

Pretty weak? It's absolutely terrible. I can't remember/don't really like any of those songs, except 'Anytime anywhere.'

I don't think so. I've heard all the studio albums and it's only the debut that grabbed me.

I definitely think so. "G" is a killer album and not to be missed.

They've put out some nice and solid albums through the years but the only one that rocked for me was the debut which had two outstanding tracks on it. I'm not saying the rest are bad albums just not spectacular for me.

Yeah a good album but I much prefer 'Hunan Zoo' from their post 2000 output. Look forward to reading your buyer's guide! As for this live album....PASS!!

Both decent albums, but 'Domino Effect' defeats both.

I really thought Bang was a major improvement over Firebirth.

 

Still a bunch of filler but the songs were better.

 

This is just a Bang bootleg live disc released by the band only on their website, thus the Bang heavy setlist.

Live & Boring.........it should be called

 

They were a pale imitation of themselves at Rockingham last year - I left before the end. Just an average hard rock band now with no spark or originality and as someone said earlier the new songs are nowhere near in the same league as the Lee era.

I wonder how many live albums actually sold these days ? coz there are quite plenty released from various bands, or maybe it's just an easy money effort, record something from a live set who's already financed by promoter, produce it for $1/CD and sold for $10, hopefully get lucky to sell 200-300 CDs for a decent $2k profit
