Yep, great song but I have to be honest - that catch phrase is seriously getting on my nerves. In real life, if someone said 'That's what I'm talking about' within 10 feet of me I'd probably stab them to death.

 

I find myself wishing they'd just started singing about penises and vaginas and the mess they make... and songs like this might be the reason Steel Panther steals back the top spot for me at the end of the year.

 

 

Yeah but Steel Panther havent got a 'Hearts On The Highway' or 'Dirty Mind'.

 

Nothing on SP comes close to competing with those songs.

Adam Lambert - Aftermath

Yeah, those two and 'Rocket to your heart' are my faves too.

 

Mate, heard this Adam Lambert CD this morning. Pretty different stuff, but that 'Aftermath' song is pretty good. In all honesty, not really one of my top choices for the year but a good track anyway - definitely the best on the CD.

 

Have you heard the new Faber Drive CD? It's also got a little electronic influence (although nowhere near the likes of this Adam Lambert CD) but I promise you it murders this CD and you will prefer 'You & I tonight' to 'Aftermath' x 10000.

Yeah the album is not really my cup of tea at all. Although I do love that Muse written song 'Soaked' and as ive said 'Aftermath' is just great. What i love about that song is his vocals - quite polished but brilliant nevertheless - esp the end of the song.

 

Will check out Faber Drive. Wasnt totally bowled over by their debut....good but not great. Will give this a listen (if its on Spotify).
