Danish music....

Recommended Posts

just random topic about Danish music, and songs bands that people might like....

a homeland of Mike Tramp, and awesome MHR bands like Fate, Skagarack, Pretty Maids.... and awesomely cheesy dance acts like Aqua and Toy-Box :)

recently I came across singer Nanna Lunders Jensen, pleasant lite AOR/pop, seems a lot of her songs were in Danish but some in English

new song by Alphabeat is also nice, an underrated pop band..

Nanna - Go Your Own Way (1991)

Alphabeat - Shadows (2019)

Yup, lots of good stuff from my home country.

Have you guys heard H.E.R.O?

I swear some bands actually don't want to have their music found on the internet. What a terrible, impossible name to search. Can you please advise their albums and stuff... or any links to a discography? They sound pretty cool.

New single from Shotgun Revolution, (I think they've been mentioned somewhere on the forum before), anyway, good band for sure:

nice track, love the chorus, thank you for posting!

I even think it belongs in the AOR/Hard Rock section of this site :)

This one is a huge classic in Denmark, and still gets regular airplay on national radio:

Interesting, first time hearing Sort Sol, song has a bit of 90's alternative pop/rock vibe. Looking at discogs, says band has been around since the 80's.

band B-Joe (Brian Johansen) is another one I discovered some years ago online

B-Joe - Before It's too late

B-Joe - White white roses

B-Joe - Don't wanna lose you

Barcode Brothers (Slave to Love).... I was obsessed with this one over a decade ago, Eurodance mixed with rock still kicks :)

Infernal (Skanderborg 2017 smukfest festival)....rock, disco, bagpipes all in one, nice one from Lina and Paw :)
